Amazing

Overall the college is good. The fee structure is reasonable. It is quite close to Delhi so that is an added advantage.

This is a State University and hence is a better option than private colleges. This university provides a wide range of courses and that too at reasonable rates. This is the reason this university looked like the best option at that time. This University also has a strict anti-ragging policy.

The University provides you with a wide range of courses. So, one has a variety to choose from and can choose accordingly. As far as my department is considered, it's nice. As I am in the mechanical department, I won't be speaking about other departments but my department is absolutely amazing with all the huge labs and all the practical knowledge.

Till now our university did not had an internship in the syllabus but the syllabus changed this year and now internship is also included. The batch which got admitted in the year 2018 will be the first batch with an internship in their syllabus.

As far as placements are considered there aren't much in my department, that is mechanical. But in CSE and ECE and other branches, the placements are quite good. This year CSE and ECE had an average package of around 5 LPA. Companies with a CTC of & LPA also came to our college.

All National holidays are celebrated in our college. Besides this, there is our cultural fest, technical fest and department wise fests. Then there are sports meets, marathons etc. There is also a school for the underprivileged in the campus which is solely run by university students.

The fee structure is quite feasible as it is a government university. This includes the college fee, lab fee, hostel charges etc. All the sports festivities are also free of cost and hence makes this college value for money. The medicines also available at the campus hospital are also free of cost.

I have not availed any sort of scholarship or loan but yes there are a number of scholarships offered in the university. Some of them include toppers, minority, army, BPL, etc.

Campus life is absolutely outstanding. The crowd is amazing. all sorts of competitions take place in our university. Competition like sports, music, drama, dance, debate, robotics, quizzes etc. Besides this official stuff, parties are also quite common in the University.

The hostel facilities are quite up to the mark. The cleaning is regularly done in the hostel premises. The washrooms are also cleaned regularly. As far as the mess food is considered, it is somewhat average but to compensate that there are a lot of eating out options within walking distance.

The University has a very strong alumni network. This college is functional for over more than 40 years and hence has a very strong alumni network.

Exam structure is quite simple actually. There are minors two times in a semester, major once in a semester and practical exams once in a semester. The Minors are of 15 to 30 marks each, Majors are 75 marks each and the practicals are of 25 marks each.

The admission process is quite simple actually. When I took an admission here, both JEE-Mains and Boards marks were considered but now only JEE marks are considered. So, there are two to three rounds of online counselling and then two days of physical counselling. If one manages to get an admission in the online counselling rounds, then it's well and good, otherwise, the person has to come here for the physical round of counselling.

The faculty in the university is absolutely amazing. These professors are highly educated. They are even willing to help and teach the student after the college hours. some of them even call us at their residence if we have some sort of a problem r doubt.
