Likes
- One of the things i liked the most has to be the vast campus as you may go out on a day to sit and chill with your friends. No one bothers saying anything to you and you can enjoy your day in peace
- The campus has 4-5 canteens with a variety of food and with different price ranges. You can get high priced food as well as low priced food.
- The classrooms include ACs unlike many other institutions and universities.
Dislikes
- The most disliked thing has to be the area of the campus for sure. Like it is located in a SEZ and has no places to go to near the college.
- It is located very far from the metro station as well. Like it takes around 15 mins via a riksha to reach the college campus.
- The faculty needs to improve as they lack the element of understanding.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course according to me is a 7/10. Like the teachers can give us a lot more knowledge about the real world instead of just focusing on the theory. It does lack the practical application aspect which needs improvement on a large scale. Exams happen 4 times in one year which are one internal and one external per subject per semester.
Internships Opportunities
Internships of various fields like HR, Sales, Operations etc are provided. The stipend varies from 5-15k on an average between different companies. Most pf the companies are startups or small scale companies.
Placement Experience
Students can apply for internships in both first and second year while only third year students are eligible for placements. Companies like the National Australia bank, Airtel and a few more joined the recruitment drive this year with several small companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not really sure about such programs as i am of the general category but my friends from defence and army background have availed the facilities of scholarships and there are scholarships for students who belong to the weaker sections. The tuition fee did increase when i started my second year by 10% and i am not sure how frequent such hikes are.
Campus Life
Students can issues books from libraries, book banks (they are paid with a refundable amount). A few annual fests happen which are hosted by various societies. Artists like Aashish Solanki, Raftaar, Vivek Samanti and various motivational speakers and influencers have been a part of the same.
Admission
IPU CET is the admission exam i gave to enter the university. CUET is also an option but IPU CET is prioritised more over it. There are students from management quota who get seats by merely paying an extra amount which covers a great amount of seats. The fees structure and all are available on the college and university websites.
Faculty
The thing is that either a teacher is going to be really great or really poor. Like some teachers treat you like their own children while others act with you in a bad way per se. Some are kind off like just there to give lectures and not help the students. But u feel the ratio of good teachers is more as compared to the others.
