Only bad thing is that there is a lack of technical instruments and equipment which can be used for learning purposes

Entrance Preview

Ram Lal Anand college is in South Campus of the University of Delhi. Its one of the nicest college of South campus for commerce and arts. The faculty is great, infrastructure is fine and the 3of crowd is cool. I opted for this college because it sits in South campus and college's sports teams are awesome and won many trophies in cricket and football. It's a nice place to be.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was not much of complex. In 3 years or 6 semesters, you need to pass 4 papers/ semester so 24 in total, just like University guidelines. The subjects were good and books are available in the library to read and issue. The finest faculty make it easier for students to understand and learn in a very friendly environment.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there is CPC( Central placement cell) in south campus which helps students get recruitment in different corporates.

Placement Experience

3

Yes, there is CPC( Central placement cell) in the south campus which helps students get recruitment in different corporates. Rest it is just fine. Nothing great to say about it. It just depends on the time and students. Rest assured faculty does help a lot.

College Events

4

There are many departments and societies in college which organize events and activities from time to time. Music society, photography society, drama society, debate society, and others. Apart from this, there is an annual fest is organized around the month of March which is run for 3 days and guest celebrities are invited and it's all fun and games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

FEASIBLE by any person. not at all EXPENSIVE. For commerce, the annual fees were just ?7700 plus the examination fees. So the fee structure is Totally affordable and every type of person from poor to rich cab afford it. There is nothing to worry about it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, University does provide scholarship facilities to the poor section of societies and also the college itself provides a grant for fee and books.

Campus Life

4

The campus is lovely and sunny and beautiful. The lush green garden just in the entrance of the college which is maintained properly and we have sitting benches there and it's a nice place to chill. The gender ratio is like 40-60 (G: B) The crowd is cool Sports: there is football ground, football teams, tournaments. There is volleyball ground and tournament do happen from time to time Apart from all this, it has a big Library which is a fine place to read peacefully with all types of book, newspaper, magazine, and novels available.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no hostel facility or mess. But we do have a beautiful cafeteria which great sitting capacity and it offers every type of eatables from samosa to pasta to dosa and stuff. It hygeinic and clean place to eat and sit with your buddies and kill the time after bunk.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there is a alumni association for Ram Lal Anand college in which they take part and devote their time and values to college.

Exam Structure

As per the university guidelines. The exam structure is friendly and students are able to learn dynamically through it. The difficulty level is medium and rare chances arise in which a student fails. It's such a dynamic structure. You will not get troubled with it.

Admission

Admission process goes like this: After the cut-off is released and you have scored pretty much to reserve a seat in esteemed University of Delhi. You need to filter out the colleged who fall into your cutoff range. Then you just need to: 1) Keep all of your documents ready ( original and photocopies) one day before cutoff releases. 2) Reach out to college at around 9 in the morning and get yourself a place in que to get admission form. 3)You will go through 3 ques : 1) To get admission form 2) To show and submit your application form along with required documents. 3) To submit fees in Bank. It's all easy process but sometimes due to big crowd it gets little difficult. So don't worry it's not big deal Once you get your form submitted/ stamped and fees submitted, you will get receipt which you need to carry on orientation day. So that's it.

Faculty

4.5

Fine, Perfect and great. Finest faculty make it easier for students to understand and learn in a very friendly environment. They all are very nice to students. You will enjoy the learning here. So you should not worry about faculty in ram all Anand college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
