All about BIITM, BHUBANESWAR

To be frank and honest, there are no bad remarks for my own college. I will just conclude by saying that it is one of the best B-School in town.

As I am from an arts background, but I always wanted to do MBA from forever, so I opted for imba, because it is a combination of bba+mba. So it is quite a good course to do. In this course, BBA is of 3 years and MBA is for 2 years. So, in short, it is a course of 5 years. In this course, they teach you from the basics and try clearing our fundamentals very nicely.

BIITM comes under BPUT. Course curriculum. is good. We have 10 semesters in IMBA. Every semester has 2 internals, 2 quiz tests, 2 surprise tests, presentations and assignments. 2 summer internships for imba, 1st after 3rd year and 2nd after 4th year.

Yes, our college provides internships for both MBA and imba. Mba people get only 1 summer internship in 2 years. Whereas, IMBA students get 2 summer internship in 5 years. We get to experience an internship in all the sectors, be it IT sector, retail sector, industrial sector, etc.

Every year top companies come for job placements. It has a been a record of 100% job placements in our college. Top companies like WIPRO, FLIPKART, DECATHLON, BERGER PAINTS, ASIAN PAINTS, REDDINGTON, UPSC and many many more. These are just a few names of some companies. There is a long list of companies.

We celebrate 3 major events in our college other than seminars, conferences, etc. 1) Graduate Meet 2) B-School Fest 3) Annual Function In Graduate Meet and B-School Fest, students from different schools and colleges participate and indulge in different games and activities and Indulge themselves in mouth-watering food. And the winners are awarded for their achievements.

The fee structure of BIITM is very feasible. The fee structure for 5-year course IMBA is just 3.6 lakhs. As compared to other B-Schools, it is very cheap. It might be cheap but the teachers and their teaching is just fabulous and very good. Whereas, for MBA the fee structure is 2.8 lakhs for 2 years.

Scholarships are offered to the topper students. Sorry, but I have no knowledge about the loan facility.

Campus life is just amazing. BIITM is the only college in Odisha which provides 180 seats for MBA and 60 seats for IMBA. Both girls and boys are there. And students from all over Eastern India are there. We have 2 or 3 students from JAPAN and KOREA even. We have 2 computer labs with every new technology, soft skill lab, group discussion lab, seminar hall, conference hall, mind mart. Regular competitions are held even. We have even won many awards. BIITM was awarded the best Disciplined B-School in Odisha in 2017.

The hostel facilities are very good. For boys, there is one hostel which is of 4 floors and every floor has 7 rooms. In every room, there are 4 boys. Whereas for girls, there are 4 hostels. One is in the campus premises, keeping the girl students safety in mind. And other three hostels are near college itself. Food is even fine. They are served on time.

Senior students are even really helpful. They always try helping their juniors with study materials, And other notes.

Examinations are conducted by BPUT. There are 10 semesters for IMBA students and every semester contains 1 quiz test, 1 surprise test, 1 internal exam and few assignments and presentations. Mba students have 4 semesters. But the most important thing for appearing for the examinations are our attendance. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for getting the admit card for the exams.

Now let's come on to the admission of imba, you have 2 options of. getting admission, firstly it is OJEE. Secondly, it is the marks you have. secured in our 10th and 12th examinations. If you have Given CAT then also You can get Admission In our college.

The faculty members of our college are very very friendly and very supportive and so so cooperative. They are always ready to help us and guide us at any time of the day and night. If you call our teachers at midnight at 2 am, then also they will answer the call and help us at that time also.
