Overall my college is good but with some adjustments.
Entrance Preview
It is one of the good and respectful college neaby me home. At first I tried to get admission in government college but I was not able to clear the entrance exam. Then I got to know about this college which does not require an entrance exam to get admitted.So I went there and got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is curriculum is mostly same as in many colleges in india. There is not much change. We are still reading the outdated technologies this is very sad to admit that no one is also bothered about this. This makes us more outdated than other countries.
Internships Opportunities
No our college does not provide internship of any kind as further i know. If they would provide any internship I knew about it.
Placement Experience
The job placement are not based on college it is based on the student actually.But College should make them ready for the company and bring more good companies. In our college many companies come and there is also a training and placement program running in our college which helps preparing for govt exams ,intervies , entrepreneurship etc.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college.Recently our college fest Parivartan was celebrated.Events are also organised as mr and ms punjab . We celebrate festival as well such as lohri baisakhi etc. Many of the star singer as come to perform here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is also feasible for most of the student and there is no fees for SC Candidates. Many scholarships are also given as per the family income and studies. Fee structure of our college is less than most of the nearby colleges which is Rs 43000/-per semester .
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarships and educational loans are provided by our college for the betterment of the students.
Campus Life
Campus life is good people from almost all India come here as I am from Chandigarh.Mostly the students are the residents of punjab,haryana and Himachal. Many inter college sports competition are also organised by the college. Labs are neat and there are lab attendant with good knowledge of machines.
Hostel Facilities
I do not use the hostel facility but according to my collagemates the hostel is good but with some adjustments. The food in mess is not up to the mark. At the time of admission the food becomes masterclass and after that is has no class. But the hostel wifi facility is good.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of my college is very vast . People are working in many sectors such as government services and many big companies like L&T, Amazon,Filpkart, Google etc.
Exam Structure
Fee structure of our college is less than most of the nearby colleges which is Rs 43000/-per semester and hostel fees is Rs 75000/- for a year.They also charge for the training and placement program of Rs 6000 which is to be paid in two installments in 2nd and 3rd year.
Admission
I got Direct Admission 1) You have to buy the brochure in which admission form is attached 2) submit the form and pay the fees. My Senior were studying in these college which told me about this college. Later then I visited its college website and got to know about the college. www.cgc.edu.in
Faculty
The teacher here are highly qualified and moreover they teach us like our friends so we do not have any difficulty in understanding things.They also guide us well if we get stuck in some problems. We spent more than half our day in college so I can say It is my second home.
