- Hostel wardens are super rude and in times are really very short and unfair according to the college hours
- Students are rarely given vacations, especially when it comes to Puja vacations college schedules semester exams so that students can't go home
Course Curriculum Overview
Leaving some faculty members, somethings are really good about the college that it prepare the nursing students from the 1st semester only, so that the students don't have to face any problem in the future as the students will be well experienced already from the day1 and will get good placements as a fresher based upon their evidence based practices.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to my opinion, I feel the hostel fees is a bit too much when it comes to the mess food but the service is really good. The food is average and good but not worth 22,500/- per semester. International students can apply for scholarships as well as Indian students too but have to contact to the management first and have to sit for an exam for the scholarship. The HR cell also known as the finance department is really very helpful and friendly to make you understand each and every few structure according to the system which makes the payments in a very easy way. You can access to the loan also. Campus employment and internships are really very good in the medical department as the students get practice and learn from the 1st semester only as well as the department conducts community health duties from where the students learn more.
Campus Life
My campus life experience is very good and simple but sometimes the clinical duty and getting vacations become sometimes very hectic but it is manageable, you get to make new friends and the professors will push you to build your communication skills and development during those duty hours.
Admission
Admission process is very simple but a bit competitive, a student have to fill the admission form and have to sit for an exam in their preferable area in a particular phase and there is no cut off marks which is a really good thing.
Faculty
I'd like to take an example of my mentor, she's an assistant professor in the psychology department of nursing. Completely inactive and irresponsible as well as her behaviour is not that much friendly as she should be towards her mentees. I had a physical issue once and my roommate called my mentor to inform her as she had no idea how to handle the situation properly and thus she called my mentor for help, even my mother tried to contact her but she was too busy to ignore an emergency call and had the audacity to cut the call and later on suggested a non helpful advice.
