An amazing 4 years Roller-Coaster Ride

I think you might have got indications about my college reviewers from my previous answers. LDCE college is better than any college in every aspect. The management is also in a much positive direction. Now I don't have any words to explain but for new joiners, I would say you should be opting for this college and have the best experience of your 4 years of Engineering.

Following are the take-aways: 1)A government college AICTE Approved and very less tution fees of only Rs.1500. 2) No headache of Attendance during my college times 3) The most famous government college with great system of education and magnanimous placements. 4) As counselled by seniors, faculties are immensely talented having great and in depth knowledge in their own fields for years. 5) Less tution fees hence I can fulfill my other extra curricular activities and can invest my money in different hobbies.

The course curriculum for Bachelor of Engineering has been decided by GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. As per my point of view, the course syllabus majorly contains all the theoretical knowledge but fails to constitute it's practical knowledge that is the colleges should make it compulsory for students for gaining practical knowledge too. So, I think the course curriculum is good however just small changes about practicality are required

I think they provide internship however I never really took interest in having internship from through my college. Yes, I did an internship but through my relatives not through college. So I don't particularly know about the stipend and the experience.

LDCE is known for the highest recruitments and placements of the students. All the major companies like HSBC BANK, Accenture, Cybage, Reliance industries limited, GNFC,GSPC, Torrent Power and many more visit our campus every year. Students get very good job opportunities in LDCE with handsome amount of CTC. My another reason to opt for this college was about their good job opportunities.

There are various events being conducted at LDCE. There is a club prevailing in college and the name of that club is VOX POPULI. also Robocon conducts many events where there is singing, dancing, stand up comedy, Sherlock Holmes competition and many more competitions.

The fee structure at LDCE is very much feasible at the tuition fees is only Rs. 1500 per year. I think many of the students and their parents would be grateful for this particular fee structure having got their admission in this college. GTU conducts every semester exam where the applicable fee is Rs.850. And the other expenses are very low be it project Assignments.

I didn't availed the scholarship from college as I came into GENERAL category however there are scholarships for people coming under Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. They receive huge amount of money every year just by showing relevant documents pertaining to your caste, educational background, personal information and some more details. So yes, college do provide financial assistance.

I think I have enjoyed my campus like to the fullest as we used to bunk classes and sat in a group discussing daily chores and playing games, roaming around as the attendance issue was not of much concern. There were many extra curricular activities like singing, dancing,etc. The labs at LDCE are good, there are ancient machines. And the competitions like Robotics,debates, quiz competitions,etc do prevail in our college. There is a cultural diversity in our college and due to this reason, you get to know people coming from varied cultural background and from different demographics. Overall, there were the best 4 years of Engineering which I enjoyed the most.

I used to live in Jain Hostel which resides in Navrangpura Area. Hence I am not aware of the college Hostel facilities but once I have been there for just few hours. Hostel is not very nice in condition as per me as the space is congested. Also people did complain about the mess food being average. So these are the points to be considered.

The senior colleagues have been always helpful. They also helped Juniors regarding every event. During the first day, they get to know us about college and had orientation and they make us aware our college premises. They also organized Fresher's Party. Then they helped if we at all had any concerns regarding college or anything. They also helped us during our college placements and about the company. If a certain company comes then they share their experiences during their interview process and what are points to be kept in mind during college placements. So all in all they were highly supportive.

The exam structure at LDCE follows the same pattern as do other colleges in GTU. That is in the mid of every semester, there would be a Mid-Sem exam for each and every subject of 30marks. Then there would be Assignments related to every subject. Then there would be questions being asked my respective subject faculties as there are stipulated marks for that. Also, there are marks for the Attendance. And finally, there is a GTU Final Exams of 70 marks for every subject.

First of all you need a handsome amount of percentage in your 12th Exams. This whole admission process is conducted and carried out by ACPC which proposes the key dates and how to enroll yourself in the process. After having done that, ACPC proposes the MERIT RANK of all the students who registered in ACPC. As per your Merit Rank, you can opt for the choices of different colleges in Gujarat. And as per your choices, if your Merit Rank matches with the LDCE of Electrical Branch, then you are given the seat in LDCE of Electrical Branch. My Rank was 1863 and the ACPC published that the Rank holding between 1800 to 1880 can get an admission in LDCE in BE(ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING). Hence I got the admission as mentioned above.

I think the faculties of my college are immensely talented be it in their own fields or other curricular activities. They have in depth knowledge about their own fields. They really help whenever we come across any difficulties. If we give incorrect answer to the question asked in Practical examinations then they teach us at that particular time and make us remember through an example so that we don't forget the answer if the same question was asked. They are the best mentors in my eye.
