Course Curriculum Overview
I'm in physics department and the syllabus of our department is very much relevant to the entrance exams that u r going to appear after ur completion like net, gate etc. . U have to do self study more than depending upon the classes. Exams are not that tough if u do a regular self study of even one hour.
Placement Experience
Before last two semesters or when u r in final year u gets eligible for campus placements. Placements are not so good for integrated Msc students but somehow good for btech students. All multinational companies visits the campus with an avg package of 3 lpa to a highest package of 15 lpa. Which includes tata, Infosys, Accenture, l&t etc. You can study here and prepare for ur competitive exam for becoming an net qualifer and for becoming an teacher or lecturer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for our department at the time of admission is 40000 for the first year which u have to pay after ur counselling. From second year onwards u have to pay semester wise for 4 years which is 12000 approx for even sem and 18000 approx for odd sem. + Hostel fee. There are many scholarship assistance that are provided by the institute, It may be: Post matric E medhabruti Or any other national scholarship. There is an proper scholarship section in the college to provide u with all the assistance.
Campus Life
Vssut is famous of its tech fests. It organises the tech fest in the month of March which is vassuant and samavesh. Where different clubs will perform there stuffs and some of stars will come sing, and perform. U will get one of the biggest library and get an access of thousands of books ???? Student can join different clubs based on their interest and will. Like ecell, vibranz, souls, robotics, yoga and many more. Apart from this will get the best nature surroundings around the college as college is situated on the banks of the mahanadi
Admission
The eligibility of the course is u should have 60 percent in ur boards with pcm as ur compulsory subjects. Vssut will notify u about the entrance exams on their website: vssut.ac.in U will have to fill the form which cost : rs1000 Once the merit list is out u will fill the form for counseling at rs500 After counseling u have to pay the fees. There are total 18 seats for each department of science from which 3 seats are reserved for sc/st category. The entrance test is not so hard if u r thorough with ur 12th boards.
Faculty
In our branch the faculty to student ratio is jst awesome as we are jst 15 students in a class. Faculties are well qualified no doubt at all. There interactions some times may be harsh. Sometimes they will teach very high level that u can't get through it.
