Course Curriculum Overview

BCA is a good course for the students who: 1) want to study practical Computer Science 2)can't afford BTech If you truly want to stand out after BCA, you should either be very proficient in Coding, DSA, Development, etc to apply for Off campus placements, OR you should try to pursue MCA from a good college such as NITs from NIMCET Exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to pursuing BCA is afford in respect of similar colleges. ?30,000 per year you have pay. Fees is paid semester wise which is ?15000. But if you are not resident of Vrindavan, you have to be prepared to pay for transport and accommodation

Campus Life

3

Campus Life as such gives you a school vibe. There are no hostel facilities so you can't stay in the Campus. By the way, you are free to enjoy between and after classes to play with friends. You can also such enjoy free time while sitting under trees in the park.

There is no such entrance exam for BCA in Bon Maharaj Institute of technology and Management. You should completed your Intermediate with good Percentage with Mathematics as one of the main Subjects. Faculty

4

I have done my BCA from this College for the session 2020-2023. The institute is affiliated to DBRA University, Agra. The institute is located around 15 kms from Mathura at Vrindavan. The staff is well qualified and educated. They support students and provide a friendly environment. College also a has a library where you can have every book of your subjects. No need to buy books. Also there are small programs here and there in the year which are quite exciting. The computer lab is well equipped with Nice Computers, ACs, and WiFi. There are also equipments for Games and Sports. The campus is not so big but beautiful. But if you want placements or internships after BCA, you will be disappointed as there are No placement scenarios as of 2023.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) are decent but not exceptional. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onwards. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit the campus, along with some startups, and offer roles mainly in IT support, development, and trainee positions. The highest package offered is around 8–10 LPA, while the average package ranges between 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2–3 LPA. Approximately 60–70% of students get placed, while others either go for higher studies or off-campus opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

Placement Experience:

Around 70–80% of students from the course get placed through campus recruitment drives every year. The average package ranges between 3–5 LPA, while the highest package can go up to 8–10 LPA depending on skills and performance. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and other reputed firms. A good number of students also secure internships in companies related to their field, which helps in gaining practical exposure and industry experience. The common roles offered include software developer, data analyst, trainee engineer, and support roles, providing a solid start to students’ careers.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.
