Remarks

Our college management is good. I give 8/10 as no one is perfect everyone has some weak points on which they have to work and improve.

Entrance Preview

I opt this college because this college's study is very famous and also it is very near to my home. Also, it is situated in the very good area i.e Pitampura. When I was entered in the college, there's been greenery all around which makes everyone to breathe fresh air. This means study as well as the environment, both are good. Therefore I opted.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course is B. Com Hons. I found this course is very much helpful in maintaining accounts in businesses or jobs. Also, there are presentations in many courses which increases our confidence and decreases stage fear. Also regular studies. Lectures make us responsible.

Internships Opportunities

I don't think that our college has that much level of active internship cell but the DU central placement portal gives many opportunities for internships as well as placement cell.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements rate also are not so high and also there is so much competition that only 7-8 students in B.Com Hons got placed out of 150. Now you can imagine the competition. But now many companies approached in our college and no. Of companies increasing the) year by year.

College Events

3.5

Our college has many events one of them is Tryst - annual fest of Keshav Mahavidyalaya (KVM). Also, there have been many events conducted in the year like competitions by every department (management, commerce, arts, science department) and apart from Tryst, the fest also has been conducted by every department. Last year "B prank" came in the Tryst fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. Only rs.10,000 approx fees for B. Com Hons, BA psychology Hons students. Rs. 25000 for BMS. And rs 25000 is for B. Sc(computer science or electronics). These are very feasible as compare to private universities whose fees are starting from rs.50,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there has not been any loan or scholarship by our college and nor I availed any. As I told earlier that fees are very feasible that no one even wants Any scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good but little bit feeling like school because of strictness. Gender ratio Boy:Girl = 35:20. Practical labs lectures have also been there like tally, HTML, ITR filling, C+, Cost accounting etc. Sports also improved from last year and now our college has many teams in Many sports.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are good but only for the girls and maximum time to roam outside college is 8:00 pm. Fees for the hostel is 1 lakh p.a. But it includes everything no other extra charges. Food is also good but not like our home whenever we hungry. Hostel mess food has a typical time according to which anyone got food.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful. I also get many help in information as well as books from my senior. N if I had any doubts, I simply ask my senior without any hesitation.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as Boards in school. But the center is in our college. Paper has been made and set by DU head office and reaches our college in the morning of the date of exam. Also, there has been a team has come to our room for checking the students, if someone uses any cheating material.

Admission

I got admission by merit list. Basically, I'd got very good marks in CBSE 12th boards and also my category is General. Therefore I got admission in 4th or 5th cut off. But finally got it. Simply I'd login my DU registration portal and select college "Keshav Mahavidyalaya" and print "admission form". Along with this form, I brought 10th,12th mark sheet, provisional and character certificate to the college and got admission.

Faculty

4

Our college has strict faculty and I think that strict faculty makes college's Studies best. There has been no leniency in marks by lecturers. Only the deserved ones get the good marks. But the conclusion is we have a very responsible faculty and we don't have any issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
