My tnb college

My college is the best option for poor students for higher studies in better college but I could be a bad option for English medium oriented students because the mode of teaching here is mostly Hindi.all type of subjects are touched here even Bengali and parsi.

In Bihar after Patna and Gaya university, Bhagalpur university called TMBU is on top.my college TNB is part of thum .as I live in Bhagalpur and that college is also in Bhagalpur so I opted it for undergraduate.even students of Jharkhand and Bengal came here to study in TMBU, Bhagalpur.

I am from the economics department. this subject does not need practical. course structure is not too good. normally, it takes 4 years here to complete course of 3 years .exam's here is taken yearly with a setup exam just a few months before the yearly exam, but marks of setup exam are not included in yearly exam result. however, each category has a different course and exam pattern, process, facility and duration, I mean of arts/science/computer category.

No, this college does not have any placement facility. however, TMBU management had announced that some top colleges under TMBU like TNB college of mine will have in campus placement in coming years.

No placement is done here yet. this is a very basic level common college in Bihar.it generally only teaches and give you a degree of graduation and PhD.not any job assurance. however teaching of our tmbu colleges is highly valued and famous among Bihar and Jharkhand students.most of our students opt better colleges like DU, BHU, JNU. For higher studies like M.A/M.sc course.

Several events are celebrated in my college like establishment day, Hindi diwas,3 monthly inter-college sports competition, yearly college sports competition, teachers and student day, essay, singing, debate, drawing,science&technology competition. winner students are rewarded. students election is also done here every 3 months.

The fee structure is very feasible and has very low fee.as in this college most of the students came from remote areas of Bihar and Jharkhand and are from poor families.so expenses of tmbu colleges including tmbu is incurred by the government in which 60% is given my central government and 40% is given by state government.1 year total fee to be paid by students are between ?2000-5000 only.

The scholarship is granted to merit students for higher studies only, usually to postgraduate and p.hd students. loan facility to study in this college is not required because it already has a very low fee as most of part of the fee is paid by the government.

Campus life is good, natural and peaceful.gender ration is almost equal.no discrimination is done here of any kind.most of students here belong to lower-middle-class families.labs are well equipped and are maintained regularly. sports competition of inter-college level is done here every 3 months.debate,essay,painting,singing,etc competition are also organised.

Hostel facility is good but not too satisfactory. students having more marks only get sets in hostels. mess food bill payments are too be done by students only and can opt to make food of their own also in hostel campus. mess foods are good and serve normal north Indian foods only in room delivery of food of all time is also done here.

Many of my seniors have given the entrance of Du, BHU and JNU colleges for higher studies and got admitted too. our professors also inspire us too to go to better colleges for higher studies.

An exam is conducted yearly for arts, commerce and science category students. computer students of b.com have semester wise exams. before yearly exams, a setup exam is conducted just of pass level and its marks are not included in the main result. Exams are conducted out of that college, that is, in other colleges.

Admission of students here is based on their intermediate result. students having more marks get admission here. students having low marks can also get admission here if sit is vacant, and will get their names in 2nd or 3rd list or so on. I got my name in the 1st list of admission list. Cutoff's based on obc, general, Sc-st is also provided in the admission process.

Faculty of this colleges are good.most of them are well educated. but is having a government job and being employed in common government college, some of the faculty do not teach well or less interested to teach or do not do their job with honesty. also, the majority of professors teach in Hindi medium only because the majority of student who comes here to study are passed out of Bihar and Jharkhand board which are Hindi medium board.
