Remarks

This one is one of the best colleges where you can find a balance in studies and extracurricular activites. You get opportunities to do what interests you.

Entrance Preview

For the experties of my college to connect students with education as well as culture. Besides scoring low percentage, i could get an admission in the college. During my tenure i happened to learn the stream i got admission into. Also developed an intered in social serviced, becam a regular blood donner ever 6 months to contribute my share of social work to the socity. Learned my cultural dance bhangra and represented my college on national leve in kartarpur punjab.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum was the curriculum of Delhi University for B Com Paas. I think it was the best one of the time. Easy to understand and capable of developing the interest of the student in ti. Also the faculties there were one of the bests. As we did not see any need for extra classes or efforts to make it through the exams

Internships Opportunities

I do not think any colege that offers a degree as BCom, BA etc. provides any option of internships. However, i remember few students of my college who were doing Masters courses or have completed masters and started with further studies were given an opportunity to work as assistants to faculties and make a carrier a lecturers in the universities.

Placement Experience

2.5

Again, as mentioned in the last question i do not think there were any internships or job placements available in my or any college of similar standing. However, i am certain of onething that for placements or job opportunities my college has always been supportive to students with any help or documentation needed by students.

College Events

5

there was an annual day celebrated in my college. On this day there used to be may activities planned, such as debated, nukkad nataks, cultural or anyothet performances followed by the acknowledging the students and lecturers for their achivements during the year, let it be in sports, extra curricular or any other achivements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure at my tie was just 2500 or so per year. I am not sure about what it is in today’s time. With the fee being jist 2500 per year but still there are students who want to sumtudy but could not affoard it they used to get concession in fee if permitted by principal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Having such a low fee, i do not think anyone needed a loan. However, there were scholarships available for the students in the merit lines

Campus Life

2.5

There was a healthy balance, we had good ration of boys and girls in the college campus. We had a gymnasium, a computer lab, a library, an auditorium hall, cultural room, prayer room, room for practicing music anf singign, volley ball and basket ball court, a hall where i used to train myself in bhangra along with my team

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Well having 99% of the students from Delhi only. There was no need for an hostel in our college. But yes we surely has a canteen, that was ok enough for the times we studied. It used ti have sufficient snacks for the students to enjoy and on the reasonable price. Also everything in our canteen used to be made fresh which is something i liked the most

Alumni/Alumna

Unfortunately, i di not think there are any alumni meets happening now. The last one that happened was arranged by us while we were in our final year.

Exam Structure

Exams used to happen in line with the University of Delhi. There used to be a common datesheet for BCom students across the University. The exams were held in the college premises. The exams used to happen once a year following all the processes laid down by the University.

Admission

The admission process invilves: - purchased the college admisison form along with braucher - filled the form for the course i walted admission - waited for the cut off list of marks - i could see my marks falling in cut off list - filled in the form and submitted the admission fee for first year

Faculty

5

One of the best faulties of the Delhi university. Most of then having a Doctorate degree. The faculities not only involved the students in their studies, but also used to inspire students to actively participate in other activities and represent the college at university level. This not only helped students develop their confidence but also helped them to be a good person with good moral values

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
