Course Curriculum Overview

5

Actually based on curriculum MCC follows the best way of handling the subjects and the students because they follow ( CBCS ) which means Choice based credit system through this type students are allowed to choose some of their subjects as per their interest and wish. And they conduct 3 Internal Continuous Assessment through which our internal marks are taken. The first and 3 rd ICA are written based and the 2 nd ICA is a component which the staffs decide maybe a project work , assignment, presentation through which the students are prepared for the real world applications

Internships Opportunities

2.5

As related to internship mcc don't offer any company or roles under internship but they encourage us to find some good companies to work with. The faculties will guide us but not spoon feed us we literally have to run for companies.

Placement Experience

4

As I am a 2 nd year student I don't know much about placement details but they create a group for placement during the second year and asks the students to decide whether they are trying for placements or they are opting for higher students or they are interested in business or entrepreneurship they guide us a lot to have a clear view about our future . And from senior I came to know that they are wonderful companies visiting mcc like Deloitte, even more

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually MCC is the most affordable college when it comes to aided category for BCOM degree they charge around 28,000 for the first year 19,000 for second year and around 10,000 for final year which is third year. But when comes to self financed stream they charge around 45,000 per semester

Campus Life

5

They conduct lots and lots of events mainly the Asia's first open culturals which is DEEPWOODS conducted in the month of March and Moonshadow , Pongal celebration, onam celebration, . And about their library it's really a vast library they literally have everything we can refer the book students have lots of space in the library to sit and rest at peace. The classroom are best there is a good ventilation a nice environment they use projectors which makes the classroom a smart classroom. They conduct lots of tournament and matches within the departments and even intra department sports meets. They even have NSS, NCC scout, naval wing , and everything they keep the students very interacted

Admission

When it comes to BCOM there is more demand in MCC for aided steam the cut off is minimum 99.25 within 99.5 percent the seats will be over. Based on caste some people will be getting around 95% maybe. And they give preference to Christian studends

Faculty

5

Faculty are well trained and they are the most experienced staffs who have a wide view in the subject . They support the students very well not only in academics but also builds the personality, behaviour and character of a student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
