Likes
- Most of students are doing CA, CS CMA, so the crowd is good
- Since nearly all students do CA CS CMA, the staff is very much supportive, you won't face any difficulties with your classes
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not very big, but now they are constructing new college
- Parking for the vehicle is very hard to find
- Library is kind of small, but with new building, i think it will be bigger
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is as per PUNE university, the same is very much followed. Bachelors in commerce cover a wide range of commercial areas like management, accounting, law, taxation, etc. I definitely suggest doing any side course like CA, CS, CMA, CFA, or CAT. The frequency of exams is twice a year. The timing of the exam is very good for CA, CS, CMA, ETC, students like it's after the all above exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not sure about the tution fee hike, but it's 18000/ year. Apart from this, you have to pay fees for uniforms, assignments, and project books which is around 1800 in FY. Exam fees are seperate from SAVITRIBAI PHULE UNIVERSITY which is around 800/ exam. Not sure about scholarships and campus employment.
Campus Life
There are various sports and other events. Like badminton, chess, cricket, and various others. The library has almost all books related to the course. The classrooms are well equipped with smart board, and AC. The sports sir is very much supportive of students interested in sports. Students are not connected over any kind of WhatsApp group, communication between the college and students is done through the college app.
Admission
You need to be 12th pass. There are not any entrance exams . You can take admission any time . You can take admission even after all college has closed there admission . You can take admission form from college itself and pay the 50 or 100 fees for it. Admission process is very easy.
Faculty
There are separate faculties for separate subjects, and seperate staff for admin purposes. Faculty to student ratio is very good. Not sure about qualifications, but they all seem to be eligible for teaching. Faculties are very friendly. Especially the sports sir, he is very supportive if you are interested in any sport.
