One of the best college under calcutta university

Bangabasi college is overall a good college under calcutta university. .but the college gives a very less attention to the sports. .as the college doesn't have their own playground..as compared to other colleges in kolkata it is one of the best college which gives proper educational facilities in such a feasible fee structure...but the management must look after the jobs and placement opportunities

I option for this particular college..because this college provides a very good education facilities in a very low fees per annum and the teachers in this college are very well educated...and they help the students a lot with their studies as well as the projects which the students are provided

The course curriculum of English honours in this college is very good..there are different lectures for different subjects under English honours which are provided by our respected teachers....the history of english literature,philology and romantic poetry were the honours subject each containing 100 marks...

No..the college doesn't provide much internship..as the college have less management courses like bba..they doesnt provide any internships to the students

The placements and job opportunities in the college is not very good...very less students get placement as well as less reputed companies come to college for providing jobs to the students....the job opportunities and placements are poor in the college..

The events celebrated in the college are very good and students enjoy a lot in the events which were celebrated in the college...there were dance and singing competitions held in the college auditorium..annual functions takes place outside the college in other auditroiums..there were also different cultural programmes held in the college..

The fee structure in the college is very feasible...and according to me it is one of the best college in kolkata because it provides a very good educational facility in a very low fee structure..as compared to other colleges with expensive fee structure. .the fee structure is about 3500 rs per annum which is very affordable and reasonable for the students

Sorry but there is not any scholarship facilities or loan facilities offered or availed by the college for all the students but there is scholarship facility for the sc/st students..

The campus life in our college is quite good..there are more girls in the college as compared to boys..and the college takes keen interest in competitions like singing, dancing, quiz as well as there are debate competition which takes place in the common room of our college..the extracurricular activities in the college is not so good because the college doesnt have their own playground for sports

There are no hostel facilities or mess food as the college doesnt have their own hostel or mess food...but there is canteen facility available in the college which is quite good and affordable for the students..the canteen foods are very hygienic as well as good for the students.

The alumni network and the senior students in our college are very friendly as well as helpful. .the senior students always steps forward for the problems which were faced by the freshers or any other students in the college

In our department,that is under English honours department we go through yearly exams..first of all one exam takes place of two subjects one of alternative English and one of compulsory English. ..and after that the honours subject and the optional subjects are taken place...other than this yearly exams..there were few tests which takes place in the college before the yearly exams

First of all i applied online through the college website...i filled up the admission form of English honors..then i provided all my important details about my past studies and marks..then my form was submitted to the college website after that i paid rs 200 for the college admission form...after waiting for few days..merit last was provided by the college in their college website...and i got my name in the 2nd merit list...after that i was given a date for verification of my documents. ..and after proper verification by the respected teachers.my admission process was completed and my name have been enrolled in the college as a student

The faculty of our college is extremely good as well as well disciplined...teachers helps the students a lot in their studies...as well as they take regular tests in class for the betterment of the students...students are also given smart classes..teachers also gives proper lectures on each chapter and they also provide some important question answers according to them which is very useful for the students in the exam
