I wanted to be an Engineer from my school studies. Because an Engineer can create a lot of innovative inventions. But when choosing a correct Engineering college, I am a little confused. So, I enquired about the quality of Engineering colleges near my locality. All I have received was about good comments about this college and quality of Engineering in this college. So I selected this college through Anna University Counseling Process through the merit of 12th standard marks.

I have chosen civil engineering because I have some drawing skills and imaginary skills and I have verified that my college has civil engineering with good quality staffs and we'll develop laboratories.so I have selected government college of engineering Salem.

Every Engineering student in Tamil Nadu under the community category of BC/MBC/SC/ST student can avail scholarships for studying undergraduate.

The details about the placement and job opportunities may not be special but the college has famous fame and name about the institution due to the quality engineers working in all over the world as excellent engineers. Because nowadays government colleges don't offer quality placements.

As we are government college students, every symposium and cultural will be done by our students and seniors through clubs such as Leo club, Rotaract club, Tamil literary club, English literary association, etc, Through this, every student can learn management skills.

It is a government college under Tamil Nadu government. Its fees structure is nominal to government admitted fees no such extra fees are collected like any other private colleges. As private colleges would pay you a minimum of 1 lakhs but our college would costs u only 25000 a year, if you are a hosteller. And 10000 if you are a day scholar.

Tamil Nadu Engineering students scholarships for Minority students provided by Tamil Nadu government can be availed through college.

Campus life is nice with a clean environment and free WiFi. Conditions on gender ratio are not so strict and boys and girls are so friendly. Our hidden skills can be developed through various clubs in college. sports facilities are excellent through the clean ground and needed tools and equipment.

Hostel facilities are neat and free to live. With ground facilities to play and gym facilities to exercise. food is average such as our fees. But no bad quality of food is provided. But the taste is fair. And cleanliness in a hostel is a little uncomfortable issue.

I'll sure that we have well-developed alumni structure and senior students.we have good contact with our seniors and they are helpful in every way in studies and placements.

As our college was an Autonomous institution, the syllabus and curriculum were framed by our college officials with proper Engineering knowledge with the rules and regulations of Anna University. The exams were conducted by the college administration. And paper correction was done by quality staffs.

Immediately I wanted to be an Engineering student. I have applied for Anna University Counseling through an online application. I have filled application through online and taken printout of that application and attached my documents needed. And sent a post to Anna University. And they will announce a rank list and a date for admission. And I selected this college.

I have enquired about the faculties of the government college of engineering Salem to the passed out seniors of the college. All their words explain the quality of the faculties. The civil engineering department has well-experienced professors and lab assistants.
