My experience.

I applied for vit vellore , bits . They had very hefty amounts of fess. Which i might not afford. Thats why i did not take admission in these college . My 4 year fees is their aunnal fees. I cleared the exams of vit and bit. For financial reasons i did not take admisison . For other courses rather than btech the college tame entrance tests . For btech jee mains is preffered . The cutoff generaly goes till 85% . There is also a managemnet quoto. Please dont make this statement public. Instead of 130000 they take 300000 for a year in fees....Read More

The admission process at main campus is based on jee mains ranking. However if you couldn't get a seat there then you can definitely get a seat here with some decent marks in 12th exam. The reasom to choose this college is you are still part of GNDU Amritsar and can avail those services to your best. Your degree will hold some value better than some local college. The university is associated to government and thus doesn't bother you unnecessary for money as some private universities are reputed to. That is enough reason to choose it over than a local college.the usual cutoff of admission is around 2-2.5lakh based on jee mains. But this is increasing day by day based on increasing competition. This college was near to my house and it didn't took a lot of time to reach there that's why this was very convenient for me so I chose this college . I didn't applied in any other college nor did I availed any quota while admission . The minimum marks required for my course was 60% and I had attained more than 90% so I didn't faced any issue while admission. There was an entrance test and a counselling session as well. The entrance test was not so tough according to me and I was able to clear it easily. The counselling day was an interesting one as it was my first time experience. Postive is this there is less fees and scholarships are present so that all classes of people can study here. Negative is this that it is present in rural area and it is very difficult to access it .I have to change two busses daily to reach there on time and there is no college bus service on my home side area....Read More
