Likes

They have many entertainment programs almost everyday
There is so much freedom unlike other colleges
There are many additional courses they offer and we have scope for growth

Dislikes

Teachers are not that friendly with students and some do not teach well
There is a lot of politics issues outside the college which can be an issue inside the college

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm doing bcom since I really like commerce and I would like to move on with a business and this subject is really helping me understand more about different kinds of business as well. More practical learning has to be brought into the course. The timing of our exam is 3hrs. There is one internal exam and one external exam for every semester

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships and subsidies for poor students such as egrantz. And also there are reservation for backward caste. The fees is also not so high... it's almost around 1700 per semester. I guess it's not that a big amount

Campus Life

The classrooms are quite sufficient for the students and basic amenities is clean toilets, clean classrooms, fans, lights etc are available. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that we can join in such as nss ncc etc and we can do many certificate courses as well.

Admission

Eligibility to join the college is 12th pass. There is a cut off for each course you choose. The application for each course will be open during the end of April every year. There is guidance for you in the site itself.

Faculty

All the faculty members are high qualified and most of them are of PhD level. They all teach really good except for a very few of them. They are all really understanding and really professional teachers

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

Placement Experience:

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

Good college.

I applied to Christ Nagar college, Maranalloor and i had gotten a confirmed admission there. I was there for 2 months until i got an admission here which is a far better college. The college i had applied to was more of a school than a college and it was just difficult being there as it felt like a jail. I did not get rejected by any college as i had not applied for more. The other colleges to which i applied are sacred heart college, ernakulam and christ college, thrissur. The first reason was that sacred heart college asked 4 lakhs which was actually more than my college. Beacause i only had to pay 15000 as i got through merit.
