Remarks

Entrance Preview

Vidyalankar provides you different course option after your HSC, i.e BAF, BBI, BFM, BMS, BMM, BSCIT. Vidyalankar is best in studies, curriculum, extra-curricular activities, also the college campus is very positive. Our college is carrier oriented. A reason I choose this college is that I feel like going to college every day.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose BAF after my HSC, on the orientation day they provide you with all the details regarding the 3 years course. Apart from that while completing the course you can access the Library for your study material and you can also use the study room as well. Many helpful things are provided by the college during your course time.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides internship but the ratio is low. Average stipend is provided which is good. I did an internship with wellness forever which was market study thing was a great experience for me to learn new things as well improve my communication skills.

Placement Experience

5

Placements in our college are best things. Around 20 to 25 companies conducted placement for VSIT Students for the year 2017-18 and also additional 3-5 companies came for BSCIT especially even after the final exams placements very going on in VSIT. Job Opportunities are great. I got selected in the very first company which conducted placement and I am very grateful for a job opportunity I got.

College Events

5

Verve & Vigour are the biggest events celebrated every year in our college which consist of numerous events. As on from the year 2017-18 VSIT league have been also stared which consists of every course/department. Also, Teachers and faculty members participate in this event. Many Marathi is the signature event of our college. Even on every Saturday Shanivaar Manch is celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees Structure is expensive apart from various other colleges in Mumbai. Being a private college Vidyalankar charges Minimum of as on 2017-18 (36,000 ? for BAF, BBI, BFM, BMM and ? 54,000 for BMS and ? 56,000 for BSCIT). The fees are expensive as compare to many other colleges in Mumbai.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, there are for sure but I don't know much if it but you can definitely get to know about it in our College Office which is on the ground floor of VISIT building.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is fabulous plenty of area of campus cover with beautiful trees and nature everywhere. Also, there is Volleyball Court and Basketball Court. Badminton Court. Cricket Ground and Football Ground there are 2 grounds. A separate gym-khana building consists of Pool, Carton, Table Tennis, Karaoke(Mind me if I spell It wrong) Chess Board, Hand football, Air Hockey, Play Station Zone and also Archie's have open recently. Around 20-30 Sports Activities are covered. There is no Gender Equality thing. Any lab assistance needed they are almost 6-7 labs. Dream Come True Kinda College.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Our college doesn't have hostel facility. But Vidyalankar Canteens can guarantee you that you are never hungry and never get off eating. Our Campus has 2 large Canteens, 2 CCD areas with snacks, Vending machines all over the college campus. Vidyalankar is great in providing food to their students as well as faculty members.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior is the very best thing in Vidyalankar helps you out in any kind of situation and by any means any situation. Very much helpful and great time to have with them.

Exam Structure

Exam Structure is the same for all courses. 6 Semesters are conducted in 3 years and 6 Mid-Terms are also conducted and which are compulsory to attend. The paper pattern is 75 marks Theory Paper and 25 marks Internals which consist of Mid-Terms, Presentation, Viva, Attendance etc.

Admission

HSC is the main criteria after HSC you have to visit the college check the merit list take and if you are in the merit then you have to take the form you have to feel the form and submit it and take admission. Parents are important and needed while taking admission. Admission is granted on first come first take basis.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is the most helpful thing and ready to help whenever you need them. The teacher explains you well in lectures using books, by giving a presentation, during practical also if you are in doubt they help you to understand it properly. Even extra lectures are conducted on regular basis.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
