B.COM(hons.) From Jamia Millia Islamia( New Delhi).

I've always loved commerce since my school time so I decided to pursue qualification in the same from one of the most prestigious universities and hence I took admission in Jamia Millia Islamia. The curriculum of the course that JMI follows, prepares the students to face tuff situation in the respective field and also prepares the students to work efficeintly in their career in the field of commerce.

At the end of the graduate program, students are required to undergo an internship of generally 4 months in which they practically learn about the field they graduate in. As for BCOM(Hons.), students are required to work for audit firms, and management consultancies in which practically learn and grow in their fields which gives them a strong start to their careers.

The fee structure of this course and even all the courses in Jamia Millia Islamia is very affordable. For instance, the fee BCOM(Hons.) in JMI is INR7200 per year which is much less compared to other colleges and universities. This affordable fee structure makes it really easy for students who wish to pursue education in such prominent institutions.

There are various fests and functions conducted in the university from time to time. There is an annual fest conducted every year in which students from all the departments participate. There is a big library on the campus which contains books on almost all the topics. Students can always obtain knowledge from any field they want and can also issue books through their ID cards. There is also a sports complex on the university campus that has a big cricket ground, gym, and all the other sports like badminton, tennis, etc.

The eligibility of the course any candidate who has completed their +2 with a minimum of 50% can apply. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the admission form from JMI's official website (www.jmi.coe.in) as soon as the university releases a circular about the availability of the admission forms. The fee for the admission form is generally INR550. There are several reservations also like Muslim reservations, OBC/ST reservations, Muslim women reservations, Kashmiri Migrant reservations, PWD reservations, etc. The admission test is conducted by the university within 20-25 days after the last date of filling out the admission forms and the test is generally 1.5 hours. The BCOM(Hons.) entrance test contains 100 MCQs of 1 mark each and a .25 deduction for each wrong answer. The difficulty level is moderate to hard as the competition is high because of too many applicants.

The faculties are highly qualified and experienced. They are always open for help and students can always reach out to them for any sort of help. They adopt interactive approaches to teaching and maintain a connection with the students to ensure the proper understanding and clarity of every concept. Students can always interact with their teachers regarding their subjects or even any other issue and they'll surely assist them as much as they can.
