Entrance of collage

College management is good. Only the bad thing I have noticed about the college is that we can't do any other side job or some other activity other than the college promises.

Near to home place and know to speak Marathi so I had a advantage. The college building is well architect n d faculty is quite good .institute maintain its quality of education. The placement percentage is quite good. Overall decipline is of the collage is well maintained..

The course B.tech marine engineering is very practical one. What we will face on the ship we r studying that only. It gives such a skill that we can deal with not only mechanical department but electrical and information technology. We r preparing ourselves that we can survive in adverse condition also.

No.any internship is not provided. It is a full residential course. We have to follow the regular routine of cadet training. Although campus placement starts even from 2nd year only.

Campus placement is provided. At the end of course approx 100 percent cadets were placed. Job opportunity is good also. We will sail in the international waters. We will paid with dollars and there will be no income tax for us because we will treat as a NRI.

MIT institute conducts many events such as international sports meet, MANIFEST, this institute is know for the biggest feast of Maharashtra that is persona.The college conducts many sports like events for maintaining the health of the cadets is key factor to be fit onboard.

Studying for this field is expensive than other fields. The course for marine engineering require 1200000 but we include other expensis til 4years then it may cost around 1500000 including all the transportation n living expenses.For this field we also need to do other courses know as STCW which is not provided my the collage so we need to go other collage for doing this it may take around 20000.

Schoolership is given to the meritorious students. The students having 90 percent in 12th board and 8 point cgpa in the previous semester will get the 50 Schoolership in the college fee.

Campus life is simple and a routine based life. From morning to night 9 o clock we have to follow the routine and we r getting Saturday and Sunday weekend holiday. Gender ration is very critical. In the strength of 1000 male cadets there is only 30 female cadets. Extra seminar and parade activities are there.

The rental and mess charge is included in total fee structure. Although 50 thousands per semester charge is there for the mess and hostel. Cleanliness is very good but the food quality is not that much good as home because there is huge strength and to manage it is very complicated one.

The alumni day is conducted every year. Seniors come and tell their experiences and guide us regarding the survival on ship .

Semester type exams are there. There are total 8 semesters. Each semester contain 6 theory and 2 labs subject.we will get the whole knowledge about shipping at the end of course including engine side operation and maintainence and rules and regulations regarding shipping industry nationally and internationally.

Have have to go through rounds which includes eye test, colour blindness test and all health related checkup,submission of overall original documents, filling forms, submission of fees for the first semester and at the last go for the interview. The results for the selection will be put on collage website or on notice board on current day or the next day..

We need to go collage from Monday to Friday and the collage starts from 9 to evening 4 so we can assess the faculty member during the collage hours or on the lecture time for any doubt related to your field the collage has also provided the 1st n 4th Saturday running only for faculty members where we are allowed to ask doubt by going to collage
