I got admission in this college through WB-JEE this year. I got 36.5 marks in WB-JEE and secured 18645th rank in it through online counselling in WB-JEE i got civil branch in this college. The admission process was a bit lengthy which included submission of many forms through a period of days i chose this college becuse it was the best college for civil and electrical branch which I could get.

Durgapur steel plant, power grid corporation, durgapur projects Ltd. ,L & T cement, bSNL (Calcutta Telephones),kharagpur railway workshop are some of the companies which offer stipend for internship and also vocational training. The students(generally 3rd and 4th year) of the college has a good internship experience general stipend offered is rs10000-rs15000 per month.

The college is visited by various companies such as Wipro, Infosys, Piaggio, Microsoft, Godrej, L&T, Huawei and many other . The average package which is given each year is around 4-5 lakhs per annum sometime the max package offered is around 7 lakhs almost 65% of the student studying get placed in the final year.

Recstacy-annual cultural festival are some of the festivals which my college holds every year the participation is big and in HORIZON 2K15 student participation is mandatory. The festival is organised big and students practice for these at least a month earlier.

The fee structure is feasible the fee per semester is around rs48500 and thus amounts to 4 lakhs for a B.tech course the amount is feasible for modern parents. If a student opt for a hostel facility then the amount rises to almost 6 lakhs for a course. Each year a development fee rs10000 extra is also charged.

The college offers a total scholarship for branch topper each semester. Whereas the loan facilities are also provided by ICICI bank, college also has ATM and banking facility in campus .

Campus life is good with a lot of refreshment all around. It is a good education campus extracurricular like sport competition, debates are very good in colleges, these events are co-organised by college management and students as long as gender ratio is concerned it is good as compared to other engineering colleges and it is around 2:1 . Workshops are organised every month and it is compulsory for the students to attend these students are also mandatory to follow rules and have tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion. There is also art of living sessions by senior students given to junior students .

The rooms of the hostel is spacious and the necessary facilities are good but there is a constant electricity problem in the hostel. The mess food is quite good and it is served punctually. There are three varities of mess food which a student can opt for

Senior students are very encourageous towards junior students in campus they always help the freshers and junior students to cope up with the life in college. My seniors always try to help me out in assignments and other daily college activities and they also share their experiences as far as alumni is concerned they are always as helpful as senior students their association also helps the management to organise various programmes in the campus .
