Good University for those who wish to excel in printing technology

Overall the management is good but there are some issues with the hostel management.

I had chosen this university because the course which I wanted was food technology and in Haryana, there are only 3 places where it is taught and one of them is so good that I was not qualified as to my marks and the other one is the college which I didn't want to go to.

As I am in 1st year I can't tell much about my course as in 1st year all engineering branches have the same syllabus. But for the 1st year, some teachers are very good as they have a passion for teaching but some are just focused on the end of the monthly salary.

Yes, it provides internship in the third and fourth year of the course which is for 1 month in the 3rd year and 6 months in a 4th year.

Placements depend upon the course which you have chosen, as in my university the placement for printing technology is very good, almost all students get campus placements in that. On other courses, it is there but not as good as printing technology.

There is the youth festival which happens every year in our university in which all the students can participate after passing through the audition. There are also many visits of chief ministers and other members of the authorities as it is a government university.

The fee structure is okay. Not so expensive and not be like very less. For the first year, it is 55000 thousand which is the tuition fee and other fees like hostel and mess are not included. There are 40 rupees per diet in the mess and 10000 is the hostel rent for all year.

As it is a government university all the scholarship that the government provides are available for students to avail.

In this university there are fewer girls than boys, there is almost 1:6 difference. There is a monthly competition of coding in C languages and etc. In the competition, a trophy is given to all the winners and they come in the notice of high-level management of the college.

There are in total 4 hostels for boys as well as girls. Girls hostel I can't tell about but BH1 is very spacious and the best hostel in our university. The food from the mess is so-so. I live on rent in a pg. There are many pg around the university where the average price is 4500 per month, which can come to around 4000 with some bargaining.

Some of them are useful, some are not. One time I asked a senior of mine to help me with some official work as I was not knowing how to do and he helped me readily.

The year is divided into two semesters and in the last time of our semester is our final exam in which they are added to our degree certificate. Then there are two minors which happen in one semester and their marks are added to the final exam of the semester.

When I had given jee main, I waited for the result which when came gave me a heartbreak as it had low marks then there is the central council for admission in Haryana through which I was able to get admission in the course of food technology in my university.

Faculty of my engineering university is good as well as bad. Overall almost all teachers have masters as well as Ph.D. degrees but some of them don't know how to teach their knowledge to others but otherwise, they are good. But the lab assistants should have more knowledge of their own labs.
