Remarks

The college needs to kind of catch up with time. But as it is in a rural area we can't really blame the college. Wish the discipline wasn't taken as seriously as it is. College management is the best. They always are ready to hear from students and always help us through if we have any problem.

Entrance Preview

Sanjivani is one of the most famous colleges in the Ahmednagar District. As I had senior friends who had taken admission in Sanjivani, I was well known with the quality of Education provided here. I wanted to go to colleges in Pune or Mumbai, but as I hadn't scored high scores, my parents asked me to Give Sanjivani a try.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is based on syllabus given the University of Pune. As I am from Computer Engineering I can share a few insights. The course includes various languages like C, C++ in the second year. In the first year syllabus is same for all the branches so that if anyone wants to change the branch for the second year, he should be able to do so with ease. In the third year, you have the choice to choose from Java or Python for 5th Semester and can sharpen your skills for the whole year.

Internships Opportunities

The college has been trying to provide Internships but hasn't been that much success in the attempt. Not many Internships are provided, except for a few that can be counted on fingers. Can't really say about stipend as lately haven't seen any Internship details posted.

Placement Experience

4

Placement & Job have improved in an unimaginable way this year. TCS hired 22 students in just the first half of the year. Many other companies like KPIT, Value D, McDermott have been hiring students from the campus. The scenarios of low placement rates that was seen before have been changed. College Management has been working hard along with T&P cell for maximum placements.

College Events

5

The college has departmental organizations for every department, which look after event organizing at the department level. Each year Tech-fest is organized by dept. College annual function is the biggest event celebrated in college. Celebrities are invited to college during Annual Function. Along with the 3-4 days annual function events, we have saaz night (singing night) & S-Steppers night (dancing night). During Annual gathering many days like the traditional day, face painting day, Tapori day etc. are celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure, if you have scored high in Entrance exam is around 10,000? if not then it depends on your cast. Generally, OBC candidates have fees around 10000. The rest have to pay more some around 50k to some 100k ? per year. Depending on your cast/income you can always go for govt. scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

If your financial condition is too bad, the college has Earn and Learn scheme, where with a small amount of work you can earn money and meet your financial needs. Govt scholarships are available, I myself have been benefitted by them.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is good. Being a computer engineering student, I would say gender ratio is pretty good. Labs are top notch. College hosts many sports events throughout the year including cricket cup and big volleyball tournament etc. Competitions are held around every month. Last time I participated in debate and it was pretty hard to win/secure a rank. College is well known for sports events. College teams have won many prizes at University level.

Hostel Facilities

4

I haven't actually experienced mess food many times but the one time I ate there, I loved the food. Hostel facilities are good as any other colleges. Three students in a room. Hostels are pretty big and the rooms are enough spacious for students. Mess food is good from what I have heard.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is vast. Around every month an alumnus comes to visit the college and guides the students. Senior students are friendly. Things like Ragging are alien for our college. Everyone is helpful to another person. Many seniors conduct various workshops for junior students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is based on Pune University Guidelines. For the first and second year, there are two online exams followed by end sem exam. For the third and fourth year there is a Mid sem exam and then an End sem exam. Practical exams are conducted around one month before end semester exams.you can visit the unique website and get detailed information of exam structure.

Admission

I had given two entrance exams JEE and MHT-CET. I got the admission on the basis of score I had scored in MHT-CET. The admission process is the same as any other college in Pune University. There were three CAP rounds. One has to fill the option form in every round. If the person is satisfied with the college he got admitted to, he can freeze his seat. Otherwise, he can continue the process for the next round. I got Sanjivani in the very first round so, didn't have to go for second or third CAP round.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college has vast experience. Every semester a feedback is taken from all the students to assess the Teaching of Professors. Being an old Institute Discipline is given the topmost priority and the Faculty sees that disciple is maintained. Faculty in a way stick to the curriculum (they have no other choice, the syllabus of Pune University is vast and time to cover the syllabus is relatively small). Slight improvement in teaching is needed.

Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
