College management can do much better. Instead of getting partial among the students, even the top most management they can focus more on improving the education quality.

I got this college in the counseling process in the online counseling of Haryana state. The college held a good placement record and I know some alumni who were placed in top MNCs with a good package. Exploring the choices I went for lingaya's GVKSIMT and got the admission.

The entire course curriculum was based on MDU course curriculum. All in all it was an average. The subjects needed a revision and more importantly the syllabus which had not been changed from past 20 years. Course curriculum was great enough for the theoretical knowledge but to walk at par with demand of corporate sector it much needs a revision.

No the college do not provide any internship opportunities for the students. Students have to get interned in. Afirm outside.

Placement and job opportunities are good. Training and placement cell do try their best but their are no on campus placement opportunities. The opportunities are either off campus placement where for each attempt students have to go to the company itself or pool campus drives but the on campus placements are nil. The best job was with 4 students in Infosys, offered in a pool campus drive at Ghaziabad. 1 student got placement opportunity in TechAhead, Noida.

One cultural fest, a two day festival popularly known as Zest is the biggest scale fest celebrated in the college. The participation by students is great. First night is the fashion show night where different colleges participate and the second is star night where some celebrity is invited. The response for Zest is good. Apart from this, a technical fest, sports day, fresher's party, farewell, orientation dy, foundation dy, hosteler's night are also celebrated.

The fee structure is not very expensive. Fees for one year is around 1 lac. 45k for odd semester and 42k for even semester.And accordingly the facilities are provided. For a technical course like B tech it is not too high a price to pay. Thus in my opinion the fee structure is not too expensive.

Students above 80% in 12 are provided a fee waiver. No loan facility is provided by the college to the students.

The gender ratio is totally unbalanced. It seems to be a male dominated college. 1:4 is the average female to male ratio. Campus life is not too joyous as once you are inside the college, even if you have nothing to do for 5 hours you have to stick around and be in the capmus till the college time is over. Extracurricular activities are encouraged at a good level.

The hostels rooms are available on a sharing basis. Mostly three people have to share a room. You can choose between A C and non AC rooms. The hostel is always kept clean. Each room has a separate bathroom attached. The security is good. The food in the mess is also great. South Indian and north indian students have their separate mess where they can have their supper properly. And the food offered is good on taste, quantity as well as quality.

The students themselves may know some alumni. College do not provide a way to keep you connected with the alumni and seniors but whatever senior interaction we have in the college is helpful.

Being an engineering student we began to believe that we can never enjoy our lives, atleast till the time we are engineers. The 5 month semester was never so easy. Two sessionals/mid terms for each subject, assignments, practicals and semester exams was all we always saw ahead waiting for us.

I filled the choices in online counseling of Haryana state on the basis of jee rank. I was offered a seat in the college in first counseling. The admission process was a walk through the campus where we were shown the entire campus. After the capmus visit was over the paperwork started and within half an hour I was not so somebody seeking admission but a student of LGVKS.

Faculty of the college, especially computer science department is superb. They are ever ready to help their students and clear their doubts even at odd hours. They always treats their students well, as friends when required and very strict when it comes to studies. Not only they teaches us well they do encourage us to participate in other activities and do not hesitate themselves to participate and encourage us. I would rate the faculty 4.9 out of 5.
