The senior junior bonding is really good. Seniors help their juniors a lot.
The hostels for 2nd and 3rd year is of really good quality.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I am pursuing is because of my passion in Environmental Science. This course is taught very well by the proffesors, the course structure is really good and the teachers take it seriously and want their students to get jobs in good companies. However,Semestet could be of more time duration. The exams are held quite frequently, which is quite hectic, although not a bad thing.

Class Size: 37Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many company come for different profiles. Software based companies pay the most, around 1 Lakh stipend. Amazon, flipkart, Google, Oracle are some of them. Other companies too come for core roles, in my department company like Tata Steel, Cairn and JSW pay around 40k stipend.

Placement Experience

Placements are okay, we have nearly 50-70% placements this year. Students are eligible for placements from 4 th Year. Average placement package in my branch is around 10 lakh PA, highest being around 20 LPA. I plan to do masters after my bachlor's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category, each semester fees is around 2 lakh and for reservation, its around 40 thousand. There are a lot of financial aids available throughout the year if you meet the requirements. You will also get many clubs you can apply for.

Campus Life

Campus life is preety chill, you will get to know people from all over india and even abroad. You will get exposure to many cultures. Classrooms are good, with projectors. The library is one of the the largest in Asia.All Sports are played in campus. There are many student run clubs you can take part in.

Admission

The admission process is simple, you have to give JEE ADDVANCED exam, after qualifying JEE MAINS. Its held once a year. For caste people, its easier to get as the cutoffs are really low compared to general people. You can apply JEE from its website.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite low, however most of the teachers are good and try to spread good knowledge among students. They are highly qualified considering its an IIT. Most of them are easily approachable to, you can disscuss anything with them. Some of the teachers are not that much, however they try to help you in any way possible

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

IIT(ISM)DHANBAD SINCE 1926

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
