Remarks

I would like to conclude by saying that it is not an IIT, not NIT, but its RAIT. And no other college can match its level in academics, extracurricular activities, sports, overall development, placements, Rait is best.

Entrance Preview

This is the best college in Navi Mumbai. Many of my senior friends were in this college and they suggested me RAIT. And now even I am in the last year and I would like to suggest to others. Moreover, the college infrastructure and the innovative learning method is awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum and everything about the course and the institutes mentioned on the official website of RAIT. Not only me but if any of the students need any help regarding admissions, scholarships, etc it is always available on the website. Addition to that we have an LMS portal which has all the syllabus information with student teacher feedback.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. RAIT provides with internships and training programmes. It includes both paid and unpaid internships. But the unpaid internships are the best for the future than the paid ones. But if anyone needs paid internship it's always available for them.

Placement Experience

5

RAIT is known for its placement opportunities. It is drive starts from the day you enter the fourth year. The whole year the drive goes on with many companies coming to the campus. Not only this but RAIT training and placement cell allows you to attend two interviews one the normal one and one for the dream company. Hence you don't lose your first job if you attend the second.

College Events

5

RAIT is best known for its yearly events and the cultural festival. This event and the festival is completely done by the student body. The Studen Union Council organizes all the following events. FE Orientation. Freshers party. Ganeshotsav. Teachers day. Garba. Tie and saree day. Rose day. Traditional Day. B.E. Farewell. And one of the biggest cultural festivals of Navi Mumbai, Horizon - 3 days of madness.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible according to the facilities provided by the college. The college has the following facilities. Fully air-conditioned library with over 1L books. Full sound proof classrooms. Projectors in each classroom. 2 auditoriums 1 big and 1 small sized. High-end laboratories with latest technology equipment. Full wifi campus. And many more things.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes. There are many scholarships not only from college but RAIT also gives students scholarships from college as well as scholarships from many great businessmen who like to fund to the needy ones.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is great. as mentioned above there are a lot of events to enjoy with many extracurricular activities organized by the student council. There are two technical fests in a year. All campus sports Olympia which has various games. Engineering premier league which is a cricket tournament with teams from each branch. Same is CPL for football. And not only this but all this is conducted in the massive D.Y.Patil stadium.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are the best and in the campus. But only the drawback is this hostel is only for girls. It has full security with cameras everywhere. Food is best according to my friends living there. Hostel services are the best. Hostel facilities would b rated a 9 out of 10. But only for girls.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a special committee for the alumni network which looks after the connection of students with the alumni. Rait alumni association(RAA). Yes. The alumni students are very helpful.

Exam Structure

In each semester there are two unit tests. And at the end of the semester, there is an end sem exam which is totally conducted by Mumbai University. Each and every exam, viva, practicals, marking scheme is all as mentioned by the Mumbai University.

Admission

After completing the HSC exam in 2015. For engineering admission there was JEE exam. I secured 78 marks in the JEE pre-exams. My admission to this institute was online by date. The selection of students was done on the composite score which had JEE pre score + Hsc board score. My composite score was 78.

Faculty

4.5

The answer is the LMS portal. Each of the branches has its active LMS portal. If any of the students have any doubt or problem and wants to reach the faculty they can easily do it by the LMS portal. Even the faculty members answer to the students on the portal.

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
