Non partial analysis of Government Engineering College Amravati

Academically the civil engineering department is way too ahead of the rest of the departments. Proper utilisation of the space in the campus needs to be done. Modern day infrastructure is the need of the hour. An auditorium for instance is a must.

This college was highly rated and respected in the City specially the Civil department of this institution has many accolades to its name considering the fact that I didn't get admission to the IIT, NIT, get some respect I took admission in this college

The course curriculum is very well for tour and planned curriculum it takes care of all the heavyweight subjects and has been distributed properly in the due course of 8 semesters. I never felt anything wrong in the design of course curriculum. They have done it handsomely

No this college doesn't provide internship and that is the only major disadvantage with thought of students. Haven't taken admission in a branch like civil we definitely wanted at least a 6 month internship so that we could have looked and learnt a lot. Maybe this could be a parameter for future curriculum design

Placement and job opportunities for core branches are close to nil. Apart from this various software based companies to visit the campus. Students from branches like computer and it are attracted to those but the core branches students suffer a lot. Also the companies visiting the campus pay just a minimal salary

In India this college to celebrate its technical festival annually. Also the cultural festival is celebrated with great fervour. The sports competitions held in the month of December and early January makes the campus life electric. The alumni Association conducts the alumni meet every year

Fee structure is quite expensive considering the fact that it is a Government Engineering College the fees we feel is quite high. They say it is because of the autonomy of the college but we sincerely feel we are being fooled by the logic and there is a serious need to cut down fees

There are several scholarship facilities provided by the college considering that it is a Government Engineering College it is even expected of the Institution and it 2 fullfills that

The campus life is as such very dull and boring there is nothing to boast of about the campus. The Laboratories are old and obsolete sports competitions as I discussed earlier are held annually but not regularly and there are several forums like robotic and debate forum which takes care of various competitions regularly

Recently the boys hostel has been renovated there has been an inclusion of the modern day infrastructure inside also this year a new hostel for boys was inaugurated. girls hostel do even today lack the basic amenities needed. The mess food is quite yum

The alumni network network of the college is very strong. Each year the alumni Association conducts alumni meet which is a centre of attraction in the town. The senior students are very helpful they are always there for the juniors never scare them

It compromises of three tests throughout the semester namely class test one class test 2 and end semester examination that marks the end of the semester. From III here onwards there is an additional test called self study which focuses on the student preparing for a self study topic and appearing for the examination of the same

I had appeared for the joint entrance examination in the year 2015. Had cleared the means round of the examination but failed to do so in the advance round. Then my JEE main score and the board percentile was combined and I stood among the top five thousand in Maharashtra state which helped me to take admission to this college

Faculty of my colleges Top class specially civil engineering department. Rest of the departments needs a serious check. Having studied in civil engineering department I can very well and proudly say that I have studied under highly and richly experienced faculty
