My views on GEC patan

There are many things we can say that is good. college management is good.

I choose this college because this is a good college for engineering in my area. The location of the college is also nice. Teaching is good.also the other facilities are good like technical labs, design lab, the science lab is there.campus of the college is very good for the students.

The exam system is the semester system. So the course completion is very important in all semesters. For syllabus completion, there is enough strength. In all sem. The syllabus is complete very properly. All the staff is giving us the best knowledge of students subject. They tried there best for the students to give the best technical knowledge.

No there is no internship in college. but if students want to an internship in any company college give them permission.

For every year there is a placement process is held for the last year students. In my college there is a training & placement department works for the placement process. This department arranges campus interview for the students. They also invite professional for the training for the job interview.

There are many cultural and technical events and also sports event are held at our college. Every year fresher's party is organized in Sept. In technical events there is every year poster and model presentation is conduct there. In our college in Feb. Different days are celebrate and also in Feb. Sports week is organized. In April the annual function is organized. And other events recommend form University also organized.

My college is government college so the fee structure is very simple and very low. Per sem fees is 1500 rs for the boys and for girls there is no fee. This fees structure is very easy for all the students. And also there is no fee for the tfw students.

Yes, there is a scholarship system is there for all cast students According to the government of Gujarat.

Campus life is very good. Students from a different state are studying there very peacefully and very humbly. In my college, there is equal to the boys the girl's number is quite less compared to boys because of the engineering fields mechanical, electrical and civil.but in computer and e.c. there are many girls. All the labs are full with the machine and all the equipment. There are good grounds for sports.

The hostel facilities are good. And also the mess food is good. There are two hostels in our college. One for boys and second for the girls. The fees for the hostel is 2000 rs per sem and mess change is different from this. In the hostel, there is free wifi for all students. The rooms in the hostel are comfortable for 4 students.

All the senior students are good.they are good and helpful for us. They all help us with every problem.

The exam structure is in the semester system. There are two exams in Every sem. One is a Midterm exam which is conduct by college and second is the University exam which is conduct by our uni.GTU.For the midterm exam, there is also a class test in every week and that marks and midterm exam Mark is count for final mid marks.there is also an external Viva system. This mark also counts in the final result.

After the result of JEE MAIN in our state admission process for Engineering students is conducted by ACPC. Combination of Board results and jee result respectively 60% and 40% marks are counted for a final merit list.After that first process was online college and field selection. According to your merit no you get admission is your choice ( select in the online process) college. Total three rounds are conducted for all the students. I got admission in the first round.

In my college in all branches enough professors. They all are highly qualified. they give us the best technical knowledge of the subject and also a practical knowledge of the respective subject. They also motivate us for how to prepare for the exam and also interviews.
