Course Curriculum Overview
B.com in accounting and finance is a very professional course as it focuses on two different aspects such as accounting and finance. The courses clear the groundwork of both fields and give us insight into what to opt for in the future. The exams are moderate level.
Placement Experience
After the completion of the degree, students are eligible for campus placements. Many big companies visit college every year for placement such as (Wipro, Google KPMG Edelwise J.P.Morgan Ernst & Young Axis Bank HSBC Bank HDFC Bank Karur Vysya Bank ICICI Bank The highest CTC offered is 20lpa and around 80% of the students get placed every year
Fees and Financial Aid
There is tution fee of 2382 of 1 semester for reservation students. The government provide scholarship, freeship (dbt) for reserved seats to help with their fees. The college's placement cell is well recognised throughout the market and ensures campus placement
Admission
Anyone above 45% can apply for the college and course. The application process is very simplified, first you have to apply online on Colleges website with relevant documents and details for only 100rs. Then they will release merit list depending upon applications received and if your name is in their you have to take those documents physically for further admission process. To avail reservation benefits you have to attach relevant documents.
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified though the department of (accounting and finance) is not established yet as last year was first. The faculty-student ratio is 10:1. The faculty's approach to teaching is very effective and understanding. Students can approach to professors anytime during their free time in college or when they are not attending lectures
