DECODING THE VNIT

curriculum is old like most of the engineering college but after NEP , they are making more and more student favoured . like they have added the facility of OC/HM ,according to which you can opt the course of your intrest . after that 6 months and one year intrerships option availble in last year of engineering . but the real bad thing is that even after the NEP they taught all the branches same in first year . exams are held twice in a semester obviviusly mid semester and end semester exams .

not too much opertunities for internship are there but decent opertunitites are there . average internship stopend is 40000/- for those who have internship . almost 50% of the batch gets internships as coding culture is good enough

Campus placement is good as almost every student remember my point if every student who studies half of that they studied for JEE then he gets very good placement . now as you want stats then avg packge is 10.3 LPA and highest packge is 64 LPA to some students by Oracle. avg packge for CSE was 17 lpa , highest was 53 lpa avg packge for ECE was 15 lpa , highest was 64 lpa

fee deatils are follows for one semester : 67000 acadmic fee + 37000 hostel fee mess is included in hostel fee and it is compulsary but college provide with schlorship for almost every student based on economic condition and category of student . for genral/EWS/OBC category with income less then 1 lac is full remission in acadmic fee , 1-4.5 lac 2/3 of acadmic fee is remitted , 4.5 - 7 1/3 acadmic fee is remitted. SC/ST category student given with full remission in acadmic fee.

there are lots of annual and technical fests like axis , aarohi , ig in library most of the books are availble which are required for core departmental studies classes are held in CRC , a big building with 6 flors and smart class are there there is sports complex for sports activities which i would rate 8/10 and for clubs and society there are a lot , there are 33 clubs which is enogh

Hostel facility is good enogh but not the best , in a single room you are given with 2 two mates incl you. wifi facility us not there . so as alternate of wifi LAN is there which is good enogh with a spped of 500/mbps. for the first year HB-06 is alloted

Admission process is through JOSSA/CSAB councelling and eligibility for b.tech course is JEE-Mains application form for jossa are introduced just after the jee advanced result , there are 5 rounds in jossa and 2 rounds in csab . i got ECE in csab round with a rank of 14k in CRL (i belongs to genral category).

faculty to student ratio is 10:1 in our ECE department . learning is awesome undoutedly as they are best in thier fields but still they egoist and arrogant which is not good as sometimes they will cut your marks not if have done a question wrong in exam but if oppose them in class. some of them are not much able to teach they would not teach even a single word without a PPT. approaching them is really cool , they are ready to help you all the time . some them are really good
