Good college for automobile

The overall college is good for those who don't want to go outside Kolkata area

I get this from counselling and the automobile engineering background of this college was good in terms of placement and quality So ,I go for this college for my b.tech programme and ease of location was one of the main reason to opt for this college

The curriculum is something I will tell is old . In the first year the syllabus of every branch is same from the second year automobile department follow the mechanical engineering department syllabus from 3 Rd year we have pure automobile syllabus including practical the workshop has a good infrastructure as a number of components are there to learn practically

If we talk about campusing then last few years was bad companies like Mahindra and Cummins come for campusing packages offered on avg 18k

The placement is not so good it's average. Once you placed in a company there are rules that you can not sit for campusing in other companies. Sone it companies and automobile companies visit the campus for recruiting students. Overall it gives around 60 percent campusing.

There are plenty of events takes place in the college. First of all the freshers happens for the new students. Then there is cultural events as well as technical events like robotics in which many colleges takes part. After that it comes to sports fest in which different colleges take part.

The fee structure of this this institute comes in medium category.the admission fee is something around 85,000 for CSE IT EE ME AND AUE Engineering department for ECE fee is higher. The semester fee is varying from 39k to 43k.as the semester progressed fee is also enhances

The scholarship is offered to the students who have poor financial background and meritorious students under the scheme of wbfs

The institute have a 50:50 ratio of boy and girl in the branch of CSE. IT ECE in mechanical and automobile department rarely there is a girl. Apart from that college have tech fest include robotics and other events gaming event's. college has a good facilities of soft skill development

The college have a separate hostel facility for boys and girls. The girl's hostel is in campus area and boys hostel is about 10 minutes walking distance the facilities includes an almirah seperate bed light fans and food.the quality of food offered is medium quality and non veg is not allowed inside the campus

The alumni has diversed around the world working with such big brands across the world like Intel Mahindra Tata etc.they are helpful

The exam is totally based on makaut pattern. First of all there are two internals of 30 marks each then there is practicals exam of 100 marks. After all these exam semester exams takes place. The distribution of marks for internals is fully depends on the makaut rules.

First counselling from wbjee at given location and make a drafting of 20,0000 Then go to college Then fill an application form via internet in the college Then pay the fee and you will get admitted 20,000 will be Deducted from total fee as you have already pay 20,000 at wbjee counselling

The faculty of department is good and helpful, there are few people from pure mechanical engineering background to support in 2 nd year now then onwards people are from automobile engineering background. faculty have good knowledge about automobile in both modern and new technology
