PEC is a good college with well established infrastructure and staff. It is one of the prestigious colleges in the north. It has good placement records for CSE and ECE branch students. But it is below avg for other branches in terms of faculty and placeme

I secured 8257 rank in JEE Advanced and 5658 rank in JEE MAINS. I got admitted to the CSE branch in the first round of counselling. I choose PEC because it has good record of placements and a good name. I choose Cse because from the very beginning I was very much interested in the coding and designing.

The course curriculum of PEC CSE is just fine. The curriculum for first year is same for all the branches. We have learnt physics,chemistry,mathematics,economics,engineering design,language,mechatronics,engineering graphics as a part of our curriculum in first year. Besides this several workshops like ethical hacking,coding,designing in Auto CAD,app development are organized in our college from time to time.

Yes our college arrange for the 6 month internship through campus recruitment. Well reputed companies like Amazon,Accenture,Paytm,American Express,JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Sandisk,Grofers,Adobe,Samsung, CISCO take interns from our college with lucrative stipends of 25000 plus every year.

PEC holds good placement records. For over the last few years, around 100 companies visit for campus recruitment. Around 70% students get placed every year with avg package of 5 LAC per year. For CSE students the package is mostly above 10 lacs.Some of the notable companies that visit PEC for CSE students are Amazon (18lac), Accenture (12 LAC), Paytm(12 LAC), American express (12 LAC), Sandisk (12 LAC), Grofers (10lac),Future First (10lac), JP Morgan (14 LAC), Goldman Sachs (12 LAC), CISCO (10 LAC), Samsung (10lac), Adobe (10 LAC) and many more.

Every year PECFEST is held in our college in which students from various colleges take part in various technical and cultural events. The Fest in our college is tricity level event with around 10000 spectators. Events like hackathon,robowars, app development,CAD Designing are held with cash prizes upto 50000 Besides this various other events like fashion show,street drama,Mr and Mrs PECFEST,music show,hip hop hussle,workshops,auto show etc are organised.

The fee structure is not too moderate as PEC comes under Chandigarh UT unlike other NITs. The fee structure is Semester fees 45000 Hostel fees 43000 per year Mess fees 1500-2500 per month. The semester fees is revised every year but remains the same for each student for the whole degree.

Scholarships are available for toppers for each branch with full fee waiver. SC students are given 50% fee waiver. Besides this there is provision of 100% fee waiver for EWS category students whose family income is less than 5 LAC per annum.

Campus life is very thrilling and joyful. Gender ratio is nearly equal. Ragging in banned in college campus. Every year fresher's parties and farewell parties are organized by students that good relationship between seniors and juniors. Various clubs are there in the college for debating,arts,photography,public speaking,marketing and personality development. Besides this various technical societies are there in the college.

Hostel and mess facility at PEC is good. Each student is given single room with proper bed,study table,fan,cupboard. The rooms are quiet spacious and are whitewashed every year. The allotment of rooms is Cgpa based. For leisure time there is a common room
