I have a memorable experience in this college

Being a government college in order to get anything done in college it takes a very long time.

I opt for this college because it is close to my hometown and its rank is also good. The placement record here is pretty good. More than 60% of students get placed in campus placements. Its campus life is also enjoyable. The students got all facilities for extra activities.

I am doing B.Tech. Civil engineering here. I would say that the course curriculum is very systematic here. It is devised focusing to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge to students. Each semester has 4 to 6 subjects and 2 to 4 labs So, there is not much lot on students. Apart from that Industry visits are also made. Teachers also arrange workshops regular to give student exposure of industry from experts.

Yes, our college provides internship to deserving students. The stipend depends on company hiring the student. It varies from 2-3k up to 10k.

The placements and job opportunities are good in this college. More than 60% of students got placed every year. This year maximum package offered is 39 LPA by Microsoft. Last year maximum package offered was 39.3 LPA in adobe. Average package is 4-5 LPA.

Our college has two fests in an academic year. One is a technical fest named TechNiti. It is organized in the month of October-November every year. Another one is a cultural fest organized in the month of March-April. Both the fests have a budget of around 10 to 15 lakhs.

The structure here is set by MHRD government and it is feasible for every student. The fee of a student depends on family income. For students having a family income less than one lakh fee is zero. For students b/w 1-5 lakh they have to pay 25% fee. For students having family income above 5 lakh, they have to pay the full fee.

A lot of scholarships are available for students. The college has a separate department for transacting scholarship.

campus life is memorable here. You can do a lot of things here. College provides full support if you are doing some innovative. Male: Female is 2:1. Students can do a lot of activities. Every department has clubs apart from that a lot of cultural clubs are also here.

Our college has 7 boys hostels, 2 girls hostels, One Mega boys hostel, One Mega girl's Hostel. The condition of all hostels is good. They are well painted. Each hostel has separate gardens. They are maintained regularly. Some hostels have gym and music room facilities. All hostels have internet facility either LAN or wifi available. Food quality is pretty good. Students here decide the menu.

Alumni network and the senior junior relation are very good. We have recent interactions with our alumni.

The exam structure includes two minor exams each subject having 20 marks and End sem exam having marks 50 each subject and 10 marks assessment given by teacher based on student performance in class. The minors are conducted at an interval of about one and a half month.

After the 12th exam, I gave JEE Main. I got 26931 rank in general category. Then during admissions, I opt for Mechanical and civil engineering. But I got Civil Engineering. Then I came to college for verification purposes. Then I got the admission in college.

The faculty of college has good teaching experience. They are very helpful. They remain available for students at any time. They are also engaged in arranging regular workshops for students to help us choose a right career path. They also have good industry experience.
