- The college campus is so magnificent with its architecture it's facilities and is well equipped with faculties with years of experience in providing Medical Education .The institution comes under direct control of Directorate Medical Education.
- The students were given complete freedom and weekly activities were conducted refreshing students from their hectic MBBS curriculum.The activities were conducted under control of a students union in a cheerful manner usually on the weekends
- Our campus provide various streams like MBBS, Nursing ,MLT and Paramedical courses.Institution constitutes of various departments of MBBS curriculum which were adequately equipped with staffs who provides a better knowledge regarding human health.
Dislikes
- The toilets were not properly cleaned daily inside the campus.
- There are many stray dogs which making it difficult for the students to freely roam around the college
- Even though there is beautiful garden with sweet mango trees and beautiful Bougainville flowers they are not thoroughly managed by the cleaning staff.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is too heavy and there is lot to learn . Since it is based on helping people I chose this course.And the curriculum is set in such away that we were trained to face health problems in real world in real time.The final year time duration can be increased since there are 6 subjects which are too hard.There will be 3 internal assessment in which total of no less 40 percent should be scored in both theory and practical only then you will be permitted to write the University Exams.
Internships Opportunities
After completing the 4 yrs of classroom education the students are permitted for the 1 year internship in which they are paid monthly about 29000.They have to work in all the departments mentioned in the MBBS curriculum within a year to be certified as the registered doctors
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee for each year is about 27000 Rs. And if you choose hostel additional monthly payment of 4500 Rs should be done.There are free exemption for SC,ST ,OEC and PH students in each year . Scholarship are available for most OBC students with less annual income
Campus Life
The grand college fest EUPHORIA is conducted each year by the month of June.The festival onam , christmas,Halloween etc were conducted each year .All kinds of medical books and research papers are accessible to students from the liabrary for polishing their knowledge.Various arts sports competition were conducted.Torque is intercollge sports tournament conduct by the college union .All evenings intrested students are given training by the professional coaches who are specially funded by college union which consists of student members.Various clubs like music club,sports club, literature club ,queer club,arts club,theatre club etc are provided in which students can join accordingly to their interest
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is the best part of the college.The rooms are for 4 person or 6 persons.Rooms are provided with 2 tables ,chairs and fans with proper ventilation and lighting .Rooms are with adequate space .Food provided here is amazing and daily menu is set and managed by the student representatives.
Admission
Admission to the college is acquired through NEET UG exam which you can attend after your 12 th standard.Based on the ranks in neet exam conducted by NTA you can get admission to this college . Actually a higher ranks should be acquired for getting an easy admission .If you have reservation you can secure a seat much easily.Now days neet exams are somewhat easy to crack and exam is conducted one time in a year
Faculty
The teaching faculty has got years of experience in providing Medical education.They are strict on taking classes on time and training us in a better way to be a better doctor.Faculties are somewhat friendly we can approach them whenever they are free when you need.Professor allow us to accompany them in OP ,Casulity,and wards and teach us how to interact with patient with empathy and provide us with the knowledge to treat them.For me my professors are the best.
