The Course curriculum is well planned and thought out and is then spread out to us in systematic order. Their are 3 sessional tests that help us track our progress and stay ready for the final semester end examinations.

students are offered plenty of internships from first year itself, with most internships being offered from up and coming start-ups and companies. Microsoft and Google also offer various projects on the basis of which they offer internships opporitunities to students. the Average stipend is about 12000 rupees.

The placment record of Chitkara University is at top standard compared to other private universities. Chitkara aims to get the students placement ready before their final year itself with many students getting placed at top companies in 3rd year itself. Infosys, Google, Meta are among top companies that visit the campus offering placement opportunities. Chitkara also helps with students starting their own start ups, which is the direction i want to pursue after my degree is completed

chitkara University provides great value for money as the course manages to keep up with standards set by other univesities but at a more affordable price. the Tuition fee is pretty affordable looking at other universities but the quality of education manages to hold up . Fees hike occur only when the college places more courses in the semester for students to enjoy .

The on Campus life could have been a bit better as the college does lag a bit behind when it comes to sports. the Library on the other hand is top notch with all important books readily available for us to issue. The college has various clubs like IEEE(institute of Electrical and electronic engineering) and CSI(computer Society of India). Classrooms have projectors installed to make the class more lively.

The hostel life could have been a bit better in my opinion. The hostels doesnt have very good infrastructure or maintenance. The boys hostels do not have a facility for air conditioning either and it becomes quite hard to manage in this weather without it. The mess quality is average at most with us eating only to keep our strength up and not for the taste. Some students struggle with availablity of rooms due to a very high demand but i foudn the overall cost to be pretty ok.

The admission process involves an application form to be filled out. The application is then verified and we receive a call to submit our important authorisation documents and our grade XII and X marksheets. Once the verifcation is complete we get a call to visit the campus to finalise admission into the college.

the faculty is top notch as most professors are PhDs in their fields and have years of experience to impart to us. The college hours become sufficient as we get enough time to interact with them and take their guidances not only from a college examination perspective but also their help for getting ready for placements.
