Best college for engineering with big campus and well educated professors

In KJSCE only bad things is about location. Its too long from an students coming from Western line like me, myself coming from virar to vidyavihar daily on which my almost 5hours get waste daily.

Course curriculum in KJSCE is different than course curriculum of Mumbai University Because of autonomy of KJSCE. In Kjsce if you are in first year and you are comp or IT student than you have to learn Engineering drawing, Communication skill, elements of electrical and electronics engineering in 1st sem and other in 2nd sem and if you are Extc or ETRX than its reverse.

In KJSCE placement is 100% and maximum salary package is 12 lpa. And if you are talking about average than its 6lpa. Many companies visiting campus for placement are like Microsoft india, Amazon india, Barclays and many big companies. Previous year 4 kjsce students got 14lpa package from Barclays

In our college there are many events like abhiyantriki - a tech event in which this year indian army was too came. Then skream - national sports fest of KJSCE in which we have many indoor and outdoor sports like cricket, football, basketball,chess,carrom, racing and many more. Then there are some events which are hold on other colleges of somaiya campus.

If you are talking about fee than definitely fee of KJSCE is too much for an average students. Total yearly fee of an students in Kjsce is 1.73lpa which is quite high for an students whose family income is not too much. But if you will talk about college faculty, library, campus than definitely fee is comparable to it.

Campus of KJSCE is quite large as compare to any college campus in Mumbai University. Campus life of our college is too good, here you will get ground of almost every type of sports. Fee of an hostel is quite high for an average students. Yearly cost of hostel is around 1.7lpa and if you will combine total fee of college and hostel than its around 3.4lpa and around 32k per month which is out of budget for any students. But if you are talking about facilities than hostel is as normal room with only 1 gym khana which is also based on timing for each students and mass of college is not too good for an students who is not gujrati.

Because of autonomy exam structure of KJSCE is quite different than students studying in Mumbai University. Exams of KJSCE are getting end before the end of exam of Mumbai University and thats why here students get vacation more than students of other colleges

Admission process for this college is quite simple. You just need minimum 50% score in HSC and MHT-CET marks. Because this college is gujrati minority college so there are chances that you get admission on minimum 100+ CET score but if you don't come under gujrati then you need minimum 135+ marks for good stream like comp and IT

Faculty of the college is well educated. They are quite helpful. if you have any doubt just meet faculty in office and tell them your doubt. They will help you in simple question too.
