Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS is a good course and practical course since we get enough practical experience. Our college hospital has enough patients in opd so practical is easy. Sometimes attendance becomes hectic to maintain but overall everything is good. Semester exams occur once in 3 months and then there is a final at the end of the year.

Internships Opportunities

4

After completing final year there is mandatory 1 year internship in hospital. Stipend is 30 k / month. But since there is very much patient load so internship is hectic but there is very much to learn here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is 70000 per year with a registration charge of 5000. The hostel feel is 20000 with mess monthly charges as 3500. State quota students can get loans and scholarships from Bihar government. And there is no other scholarship program.

Campus Life

5

There are enough cultural events. Almost all festivals are celebrated. The annual fest occurs once a year. Sports events like cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton occur once a year. The library is very good and large with wifi availability and Ac. Social groups are not present in our college, at any event anyone wanting to perform can perform.

Hostel Facilities

4

1st year students don't get hostels but since hostels are under construction they might get it later. The hostel here is good with double-seated rooms for boys and single seated for girls. Mess is attached to each hostel and the food here is good and hygienic. In 1st year we fill out a hostel form and we get a hostel when the seat is vacant.

Admission

You have to take the NEET exam. The cutoff is almost 640 + marks for general students. 75 percent seat is reserved for the state. And rest for all india quota. There is a reservation for Categories. Exams occur once in 3 months and difficulty is hard.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. There are enough professors, and residents in each department. Interaction with residents is easy and they are helpful. Interaction with professors is also easy. Professors are helpful and support students with their studies.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

I opted for mbbs which is obvious as i had qualified neet exam. Mbbs is a degree which gives us a day to day exposure to the common people. It's a degree of service, which includes a day/night work without any complaint, but not now as I'm currently in 2nd year only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
