Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose is B.Sc computer science. I chose this because of the need of people from the computer background in the professional world. I would say that the course is pretty good, teaching hs various skills like data analysis, front end, back end development, data structure and algorithm etc
Internships Opportunities
Since i am an office bearer I know the insights of the placement cell Various companies come for internships snd fir ak the courses, although there is a nit kavi in the sciences stream because companies prefer taking students from rechincal college for It rolls. But in general daily 5-6 companies come for which we assign a poc and if everything is alright the conapny's opportunity post is shared with our students.
Placement Experience
I am so the secretary of placement cell of the college so I think i would be abke to give a good answer for this question. The job opportunities are majorly for the final Year students or those who have recently passed out. Internships are available for all years with a decent stipend if you work hard. The highest package offered duri g the last session was of 23 lpa by de shaw although no student was able to acheive that. Percentage of students getting placentments is around 60. My plans after the degree are to go into Defence services but for q back up plan ill work in the IT industry then after a few years of experience I will go for my masters
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of my course is around 19000 yearly with around 2000 every exam season. I am from genrral category. For tge reservws category there is some kind of discount andalso fees depends on tbe course you have chosen.
Campus Life
The annual festival is a 2-3 day festival named sabrang which is a decent fest with famous singers. This year gippy grewal and karan randhawa were the main performers. The library of deshbandhu college is one of the best libraries in Delhi university with alk kind of books ac reading area, separate area for pc etc. Tbe college lack a bit in sports there is archery, volldyball, table tennis and badminton available. There are teams like football but they go outsude for practise. Many groups and projects are bring run.
Admission
To get into this course you have to crack cuet with subjects like ohysucs chemistry maths, then after the result your percentile would be given and there would be various rounds of cut offs for this course and college combination. Exams are held twice every year and the professors Can take class tests for internals according to their own will
Faculty
Most of the facukty members are trained and hardworking and PHD holders. They know how to be aeound stundents and give us their full suport in everything. Being with such kind of professors makes it vsru easy for hs studnets ro understand the concept
