Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because the syllabus of BMS is very interesting for someone who wants to learn about business, marketing, finance, HR . It gives you the holistic view of each and every aspect of running a business. While in the first year , you might be learning fundamentals , core concepts but from the second year , you start learning practically through real world examples, projects, PPTs , discussions . The level of exams are pretty normal and anybody who had studied seriously even in the classroom , they'd be score good marks easily. The teaching methods are decent but could be improved by giving real world projects (like run an advertising campaign to incease sales by 20%)
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came to the college namely , PW(Operations) ,Stanza Living , Magicpin etc. The roles they offered were operations , sales n marketing , social media marketing . The average stipend varied from 4,000 to 8,000 .
Placement Experience
Since the past year , great companies have been coming on the campus (Zomato , PayTM , Genpact , Intellipat etc.) The average salary ranges between 2.5 - 4.5 lacs per annum . Most profiles are Sales , Marketing , Human Resource etc. If anyone is planning to get a good job through on-college placement , the chances are quite low .
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is around 25,000 for each year (75,000 for entire course) which is pretty decent and low as compared to other BBA colleges. This fees includes everything (services fees , tuition fees) except examination fees. There are various scholarships available for needy students. The college offers good internships nowadays from good companies and startups , namely Ditto Insurance , Rapido , Zomato etc. but mostly for sales & marketing roles.
Campus Life
The annual cultural festival of the college , Splendour , happens around March-April and it spans over 2-3 days covering artist nights , DJ night , cultural performances and various Inter-college competitions. All the classrooms are equipped with smart-boards . All the indoor and outdoor sports are available and regular inter and intra college competitions happens. A lot of extracurricular societies are available for almost every type of hobby or interest , from business , dramatics , classical music to western dance and all of them are active. The libary of this collge is the largest in the Delhi University South Campus and almost every book you need is available here.
Admission
I took an entrance exam named DU-JAT in 2021 . I got my name in the first list . Also , mathematics is cumpulsory in 12th to be eligible. Now , Its replaced by CUET . The difficulty of the exam is moderate , and with ample practice , you can expect a good college. The application form can be found on CUET website.
Faculty
- The faculty to student ratio is pretty decent and the teacher specially makes sure that each and every student is able to understand what is being taught in the classroom. - The teachers teach in a way that students don't have to spend extra time revising/solving what was taught in classroom . - The teachers are very understandable . They understand your problems which might me academic,professional or personal .
