- Their support in sports is the best. In the campus itself you'll get a opportunity to play every single game you want. Like football, basketball, cricket, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, handball, kabaddi, kho kho and much more.
Dislikes
- The non medical staff for allied health sciences are not experienced.
- They won't give much facilities to AHS students as compared to MBBS students.
- 99% students are from south india. Students from north have to manage alot like me
Course Curriculum Overview
The course - BSC in Anaesthesia technology and operation theatre technology which I'm pursuing has a good career option, best way to help people if you can't clear NEET, you'll get specialization in both anaesthesia and operation theatre which is good for you future placements. The curriculum is very knowledgeable as it is too hard and lenghty for average students. The exams are undoubtedly hard but is 100% from your syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
You'll get a 1 year internship combined with your course. In that period of internship the college will pay you monthly according to your course. You have to do internship in the your own in campus hospitals which comes under the college trust.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies from course to course in AHS. Most commonly the tution fees will be 80000 per year and the hostel fees will be 75000 per year. Sometimes you've to pay for the cultural events and all. It will be cheaper for you if you're coming through neet or the state examination. You'll get atleast 4 to 5 months to pay fees if you've a valid reason and even you can pay it like in installments before your next year examinations. If you're a rank holder so definitely you'll get scholarships. There is no in campus placements except in teaching field or in our own hospitals.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best you'll ever get. From a beautiful campus with cherry blossoms and other beautiful scenarios. You'll get every type of shop facilities inside the campus itself. There are 2 best celebrations held in a year. One is the major fest held in the month of November every year for 2 days and some major politicians and actor will be a part of it. The library in the campus is a international library with a skill lab with it. Every single facility is provided in the library. From reading rooms which in open 24/7 with AC . Best furniture for the students. Separate studying places for separate students. All the classrooms are installed with high quality modern projectors with centralised AC everywhere. Mics for the faculties.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities provided in the hostel are good. Commonly you'll get a 4 sharing room. But if you'll pay more you can get a 1 or 2 or 3 sharing accordingly. The food quality can be improved alot. The hostel registration process is very simple as you've to pay it with your tution fees. But in this price you'll get some better pg's near the campus
Admission
There is no eligibility as of now. Just you should pass your 10th and 12th class board exams. The admission process is way to simple if you avoid those greedy agents. Just contact the college through the contact number provided in google. The college admission office will help you with everything. Ofcourse you'll get reservation benifits as I've seen my batchmates getting that. The only improvement we want to see is keep the agents away from the admissions.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are so supportive and friendly with the students. They do teach us well, they'll clear our doubts and they'll help us in everything. Atleast all of the non medical AHS faculties have done their MSc and some of them have done PhD as well. But some newbies like newly recruited BSC students as faculties have to learn alot. From communication skills to teaching skills.
