A compressive review about Dayananda Sgar University

The course curriculum is quite good and is strictly alligned with the latest technologies . But they are not that solid that they will provide you with real-world applications , morever the curriculum the will only give you a brief about the latest technologies.

Students form 6th sem are eligible to sit in the placements , the placements opportunities are decent and the average package will be around 3 lpa. Some good companies like delloite came to campus. The highest package was aroung 25 lpa . The percentage of students getting placed are quite low . One's you get your degree you can apply to off-campus opportunities as they provide higher packages.

The cost of B.tech in 2020 was 248850/year for students who take admission through DSAT, and 3,00,000/year for management students and 100000/year for KCET students. There wont be any hike in this prices for your course duration. And the placement opportunites is also decent with starting salary of 300000/year.

The overall campus life at DSU is below average with some small fests here and there and nothing much. no sports tournaments nothing although you can take part in accademic activites like hackathon , coding contests .

The admission process is simple either through KCET or DSAT or Management. For DSAT you can simply go the official DSU website and apply for the DSAT exam . You have to pay the form fees and later will be provided with a date and time for exam. It will be a online exam of moderate level and one's you clear this exam you can join the college provided have the minimum marks required in 10th and 12th(60%).

The faculty in DSU is quite experience and does hold good knowledge for the subject but the new joining faculties are quite inexperience and does not hold good command over the subject. But its not the case that the classroom teaching experience will be affected due to faculty-student ratio.
