college curicullam is industry relevent and its really helps students to develop the skills which industry demands . it covers a wide range of core and elective subjects which helps students to enance their fundamental knowledge . it empasis more towards research projects , internsips and collabaration with industry organisation. frequnecy of exams are okayone mid sem and end sem in four months . the difficulty level should be lowered as paper are really tough and no gaps between the exms.

i dont have the exact information regarding the companies but i know companies like jp morgen , D shaw , goldman sacs , amazon ,flipkart ,etc top mns do visit our college . exact informaton would be with the training and placement cell. people do get intershps as well as PPO(pre placement offer)

college placemets are good . different departemets have different placement stats like CSE has an average placement of around 15lakh+ .college provides placement in your 4th year of engineering .college average placement are about 7-8lakhs . highest package is 68lpa of cse /ece . placement % of top branches are almost 95% but for lower branches its like around 75-80%.

the fees system is around 70k per semester + 35k for hostel/mess fees per semster . so overall around 8 lakhs for 4 year of btech programme. schlorships are available ; if you are from SC/ST -no tution fees only hostel /mess fees . if your anual income less than 1lakhs - no tution fees only hsotel/mess fees . if your annual income is less than 5 lakhs -1/3 rd tution fee and hostel /mess fees. and bank will easily give you student loan.

campus is very beatifull and over 250 acrs of area covered with a lush green campus .college is very diverse as people from different parts of the country come to study . two main fest ; arohi (cultural fest); AXIS ( technical fest); most important events are INSTITUTE GATHERING (IG) AND DEPARTEMENT GATHERING (DG) . IG mainly foucsed on sports events and DG is for the students of thier to departement to interact with each other .

hostel facilites are decent . in first year in one room two people will live there after that from next year solo rooms will be given to you. in first you will have in time of 8 pm .you cant go outside the hostel after 8pm. from 2nd year no in time problem for boys but girls do have intime but its extended like 11pm. to be very honest mess ia kind a bad only , not even decent food .i really didn't like food part.

admission in VNIT is done through JOSSA/CSAB counselling . you need to appear for JEE mains to get admission in college . different departments have different cutoff like cse has the lowest cutoff of around 8k rank in mains . you need to have a rank of around 50-60k rank to just enter the college in lower branches for general category students .

faculty members are highly educted and qualifed . faculty memebers are experienced and they teach concepts in a good way but they wont spoon feed you the way your coacing teachers do in jee prepeartion . you can ask doubts anytime you want not only academics and advice for higher studies you can ask they have immense knowledge about it . but they are strict and will give you hardly number in exams .overall great faculty to learn and grow .
