Review of Bsc Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology from The Oxford Medical College,Yadavanahalli

The curriculum of this course contains the basic knowledge in medical education in every aspects.In first year we will study basic anatomy, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology and physiology.In second year we can study applied pathology and microbiology also we can learn pharmacology. In third year, we will specifically study about the applied areas of anesthesia technology. The curriculum of this course is a benefit for students

*We will get 1 year intership *They are not giving stipends *We have to work in operation theatre,CSSD,ICU *We have to clean the ots and assist the staff technicians in surgeries. *After internship, Certificate contains a experience in CSSD and ICU

*The course costs about 8 lakhs including hostel fees. *We have to pay exam fees for each paper having cost of 300 rupees. *No scholarships are given. * No placements. *For a fresher, job salary will be 15000/- to 20000/- per month. *No stipends are provided during internship from this college. * We can work for scrub side in surgeries , anesthesia technician that assists anesthesiologist.

*Sports events are conducted and also we can participate in university games *Cultural events are so lacking *Hospital is so near to college is the main reason that college is not conducting fests. *College having a good library contained wide range of books *Smart rooms are provided for teaching and easy to catch up all the theory classes

*The college is providing hostels separately for girls,boys and pg and interns. *Most of the students are not staying in hostel because of high hostels. *We can take PG rooms starting of cost range between 5000-6500. *We can stay in PGs in chandapura (4km away from college)and Electronic city.

*The candidate should have 50% marks in Biology, chemistry and physics in 12th grade. *We can take admissions through educational agency and also through the college administration office. *Reservation seats are available for NRI,low caste people *Exams are conducted annually,and not semester wise. *Pratical exams are conducted *Duration of exam:- 3 hours *Lack of coordination from administrative office of this college for admission

The faculty of this college having good teaching skills and also they providing notes to study.Besides from this, faculty approaching and interacting students by thier places.They are not treating mallu people in a good way. In last year of academics, students getting classes very less and concentrating in clinicals and not in theory.
