Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum deals with all the important concepts in Logistics and Supply Chain Mangement. The exams were scheduled semester wise, and each exam would have an interval of around 4-5 months. The respective exam results are also announced shortly, without much delay.
Internships Opportunities
The college provide internships during the start of 6th semester through the placement cell. The students are also allowed to undertake internships outside of the college. At the end of the semester, students need to present project reports about the internships that they have done.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards. Interested students can opt for placement assistance, which helps in undertaking certification courses and provides soft skill training sessions to the students. Along with regular messages with job opportunites, An yearly placement drive is organised with 50+ companies offering jobs. The highest package offered was around 5.5 LPA and the average stands at 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for B.Com L&SCM is around INR 2,50,000 for the three year course, to be paid yearly. There is a yearly hike of about 3-5%. Scholarship assistance is provided to the students with excellent marks in 10th and 12th Std, though the maximum limit of that scholarship is INR 50,000.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is a big highlight of the college. It is spread around an area of 1 acre, with big buildings and adequate number of classrooms for each department. The college has a well stocked library with tons of research materials available. Sports was not given much importance until recently, but now the college has a dedicated turf for playing football, badminton and cricket inside the campus.
Admission
There are no entrance exams as such, but there are interviews taken by the officials of the admission department. Reservation benefits, if applicable, can be utilized by the student. The application form can be found on the website, and the application fees is INR 1,000.
Faculty
Most of the faculty are good, knowldegeabe and approachable in case of doubts. All of them have Phd and Masters degree related to the field of Logistics. The faculty to student ratio would be somewhere around 1:20.
