I got 70% in HSC and i wanted to do B.Com from a reputed college and K J Somaiya College is the best college with huge capus in this city. Every student has a dream to tale admission in Somaiya college. So i had taken admission on the basis of this.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was based on Mumbai University Curriculum. The professors in the college are mostly CAs and the level of teaching is also high.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunity is not that great. They does not organise any job or placements campus.
College Events
Somaiya college is famous for its festivals also. The festivals are organised on a very big platform. And there are big opportunities for the people participating in these festivals.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for minority people like gujaratis and othe backward classes. I think loan facilitates are also available provided by various banks nearby.
Campus Life
Gender Ratio is Equal. Students in the capus really enjoy and there is always a somenone who is givng Birthday party. There is no problem with gender inequality, religion inequality etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels in the college campus are big and satisfactory for most of the students. Food in management is awesome. Today when i think of somaiya college i always miss management canteen. When ever i go to college i always try to visit the canteen.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are not that much rude that people think they are. The college rules are strict so there is no problem of ragging.
