Course Curriculum Overview

Maritime industry is a fast growing industry with huge opportunity in the field of research. The course I have chosen provide me with the confidence I have today. It's very important for the upcoming time.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The industry experience is given to the students by planning different visits such as workshop visit, ship visit. Internship opportunity is also given to the cadets in the MDL. It gives the best exposure to the students over here.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester the placement begins. Cadets get 100% placement from our campus. This is the most attractive thing of our campus. Major recruiters come to our college for the placement. It may include MOL, PACIFIC BASIN, FLEET MANAGEMENT, ETC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships aren't available. The complete cost of education is 9 lakhs. There is some sort of assistance provided by some companies based on caste. You can also take loans from different banks which may help you for the fees.

Campus Life

The overall campus experience is great. You will learn a lot about discipline and everything. The student interaction is most helpful thing over here. We make a very great bond with our senior and junior.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel accommodation is good. The rooms a spacious enough. It's a sea facing hostel in Mumbai and what do you want else. Also mess food is available which is average in taste as every mess food taste.

Admission

The minimum eligibility of the course is you must have secured more than 60% in your 12th in PCM aggregate and more than 50% in english. There is an exam called IMU CET for which you to apply to take admission into the course. The semester is usually of 6 months.

Faculty

Faculty members are quite good and qualified enough. They have an industry experience. They take the classes regularly and make us understand each and everything. A ppt is made available to you for your own study purpose.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. Basically I want to join only this college and I had only applied for this one and other than that I hadn't given axams for any other colleges and for getting admission in our college is through a particular platform. Firstly you have to give IMU CET exam and you have to clear your 10th and 12th with atleast 60 % in english and in 12th atleast 60 % in PCM . For my college and course last year cutoff was approx 900 rank and in 2022 it was approx 1600. And my overall experience was very good because when I came to this college they helped me a lot and guide me what to do .
