Nice Engineering at RCPIT

Well its a mix of both. For infrastructure and placements and labarotories, its a definitely yes. But looking at the location its quite remote, village type place, no proper hangout place like malls and multiplexes. No connectivity by railway and airport.

Took MHCET and got 117 marks in it. Took RCPIT becuase of its Body that runs the college. Strong background and newly started at that time and good reputation.

Course Curriculum was as per the NMU with which it was affiliated. So it was not very modern and not very old as well. as per me it lacked a programming theory paper for computer students at least.

Our course do not require internship. Yes, but our curriculum had a industrial training which was conducted at two near by places. It was nice experience.

Placements was the major reason for most of them to opt for this college in this area. Many MNC's come to our college.So packages where as high as 3.75 lpa at 2009 time. Focus is on 100% placement but by hook or crook.

A techfest on grand level which attracts many colleges from long as well. Apart from this we have Freshers party and a Farewell party. Freshers party arranged by second year students for the first year students.

Standard of the college is bit high as per area it is located. So the fees sounds to be on higher side. It also keeps on introducing some scholarships based on merit due to which fees reduce to much extent.

Yes, every year it has some or the other type of scholarship being introduced. When i was there in 2005, it had scholarship based on merit in 12th. Then later they had straight 50% less fees for girls.

So they conduct a techfest which has many events like paper presentation, coding programs, robotics racing, etc. Its good platform for every one. Also sports activities are there but for just name sake. The main sports attraction is for volley ball were even the girls are allowed from girls to view the matches.

Hostel facilities are just awesome. Since its newly built, it is as per modern structure. Its complete white and clean building.

Alumni network is huge not well maintained by the college staff. But if we have the contacts then the students have reached very fast and far in there journey. From college side they lack a portal where all the alumnus are listed along with contact number.

Exam again decided by NMU are very long lasting. For 5 subject exams they take almost a month to finish. Sometimes its good but very boring.

Most of the Faculty where the passouts of the college itself. Most of them were very knowledgeable and worked hard for completing the syllabus. Facutly should be expert and rather than just focusing on completing the syllabus concentration must be on know
