Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is irrelevant in the first semester since every course studies the same subjects but from the second semester you start studying the subjects to specialise your course and it gets harder with time. The pacing and the curriculum are really very good and if the teacher joins in with you to teach you you can get to really good heights. You get to learn a lot through the subjects if you work hard on them. However, some subjects do not really dive into the depth of the topics and leave it on the verge of borderline. If a teacher is not good enough you do not get to explore the subject anymore. The timing of the exam is really good it happens regularly and has a fair fair in your overall CGPA and grades.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many companies that come for internship opportunities of students and they are higher for developers , data analytics , data management etc. there are many companies like JP Morgan, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Facebook etc. they offer stipend of very high amount that is more than 50000 per month , there are also many companies that offer of around 30000 per month or even less but you get to learn a lot and you get an inside about the project that you have made around before your internship . You need to make projects to impress the panel and get a higher internship package . Many ideas are available on YouTube and many idea are available on Google and online.

Placement Experience

3.5

You start to get an internship when you pass the 4th semester in campus. You can also look for an internship from outside the campus and the better your internship is the better the chances of your package to be increased. There are more than 200 companies that visit the campus in a year. The lowest package is offered by Tata consultancy services of around 3 lakhs and the highest package is offered in India by Google or Microsoft of more than 50 lacs and if you get more than around 1 crore you get a placement in the foreign companies. Many students like me are not sure of their plans however the college has a very good alumni network to think about the issue and address your future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for 4 years is around 10 lakh rupees. It is however good looking at the investment and return you get after you graduate. For backward caste, there is a very good financial aid provided by the college itself but if you are a general category student you do not get to see a lot of it. Every compile all of the costs that is tuition fee hostel fees and mestries ranges from 12 lacs to 13 depending on the student.

Campus Life

4.5

There are two annual fest that take place in the college the first one is resonanz that takes place in the odd semester around September and the second one is the biggest which is moksha that takes place in the even semester around March . Many famous artist come to the campus and deliver a good performance . Our library is pretty huge , it consists of all the books needed to a student , whether it is subject related or interest . Classrooms are maximum installed with ac and it is really comfortable to set in there for hours . Are campus offers a great sports facilities of almost every sport and along with their equipments . There are many society's in nsut of almost every topic for example singing dancing acting etc.

Admission

You need to first pass the JEE examination to qualify for the same for that you need to clear your 12th and score the percentile according to the cutoffs. After that you need to participate in the JAC counseling process after submitting a certain amount of fee, then you get allotted with your branch and proceed to give the admission fee and their you are in the college as a student. If you are a student of the backward category you get a fee waiver and also are relaxed in your rank to the cut-off. Exams are held in September and December in the odd semester and in February and April in the even semester for the midnight semester and end semester respectively, the difficulty of the exam is not so high it is average and you can score high marks. Well, the ex-admission process is really good and it does not need any improvement so you can care free if you have scored a certain rank then you can get into the college.

Faculty

3

The faculty is very good and qualified . However they do not interect with students very much but some of the faculty members are really very responsive and interactive to the students which helps them a lot during their academic phase . When they come to classroom they ask for discipline and teach very good they resolve all the doubts that the students ask and also try to develop an interest in the students regarding the subject . You can interact with teachers anytime whenever you want what you will not want to interact with them since there is a library and you can get any information out of that . As for the projects in my experience I have found a teacher that asked me to work on a project but not many people volunteer for it . On the other hand there are some very annoying teachers that do not give you attendance and also teach very bad in classrooms. They just come to scroll the PPT and chill under AC . However there are also good teachers so you can always look on goodside .

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

It is because the tech branch is better in Netaji Subhash University of Technology then Delhi technical University. The package is almost same but still there is a difference of 1 lakh . The fest in my college is really good which made me choose this.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
