Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

They are following the New Education Policy or NEP that is great and all the subjects are fun and interesting to do, plus many additional courses that has options to choose from the courses of other departments. Good to explore. Every assignment is structured with the perspective of real world application. Good teaching method. More faculty is required for ui ux design. Jury exams are taken every semester.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are good many top companies come to recruit students like whirlpool, accenture, etc. Average packaging is 7- 8 lacs per annum. But is depends on the student's performance as well. My plan after getting a degree is to get some job experience and then open my own firms related to my expertise. The placement cell is very active though, looks like gonna improve.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very high that is 3.75 lacs per year. Not worth i feel. They should have provided other materials required for assignments if they are taking so much of fees. Exam fees at the end of each semester is around 3k to 4k separately taken. Not sure of scholarship. No obc sc st reservation fee discount. Internship training provided from second year with domains to choose from like entrepreneurship, industry engagement etc. This is an amazing agenda taken by the placement cell. Certificates are also provided after each year of completion. Internship opportunities and visits provided from 1st year end itself.

Campus Life

3

Aarambh fest is organized every year where you can perform various performances like dance, drama, singing etc. Huge library is set up and various design books are available there. Well maintained and monitored library can issue book that you like. Newspapers and magazines too updated regularly. Kind librarian. Projectors and wifi are provided and set up in all of the class rooms, mac lab with around 2000 softwares available. Campus look should be improved.

Admission

I showed my portfolio, they took my quick interview, saw my nid score and I quickly got the admission. I directly met I was admission there. But yes, there is an aptitude test you need to take. Eligibility is the 12th pass from any stream.

Faculty

4

2:5 is the faculty to student ratio and it impacts on the learing experience effectively. Being their experience in the design industry they give many tips to follow and tasks to do to help us work better in future for our passion. They study wisely before giving any task and analyse properly about its outcome. Also the tasks are such that they can directly be put in the portfolio if performed with best efforts. They are very prompt amd can call or message in case of difficulties anyth. Except their meetings that can be anytime between 11 am and 4 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The creative assignments and learnings of how to think out of the box made me choose this course. The curriculum prepares us well and we learn how to move forward. but the real world is something which we learn only when we enter the field. The teaching methods can improve by introducing more practical engagements and field visits. Frequency of exams are not to much and exams are easy to clear.
